Buying the name brand matters
It's great. Fits the motor. Lid seals tight. works well, cleans easily. Good size for smoothies. Well made. Carefully packaged.

Excellent quality
The Blend-Tech blender is expensive, but worth it in the long run if you use it as much as I do. This Blend-Tech replacement carafe doesn't quite match the original, but it fits perfectly on the base and does a great job on my daily smoothies.

Works Just like the original
I think this one has a higher quality gasket around the blade. Nice and quiet, no vibration.

Sturdy
Great product. Sturdy and built for extensive use. Get it, it will last for years to come. I use it for smoothies and to blend various cooked and uncooked vegetables.

Expensive, but worth it
These are more expensive than dups out there, which are also very good. But for the usage I give them, I thought saving a few bucks wasn't really necessary. These last for years and are used constantly and for important things, you really want the best you can get. It's a good investment, if you need one.
