Great quality.
It's a DeWalt 20V! What is there to say, you got quality and a long lasting charge. The only thing is that yes, it is pricey but it comes without regrets.

Ordered Pepper and got lemon
Ordered the battery and charger combo, Battery was defective , wouldn't charge.Changed to 4 stars, contacted Dewalt and they said a replacement is coming.

Works great!! confused at first tho
I bought this with an adapter, bc I needed it for my 2 older dewalt saws; this charger stays red, where my others stay green. I did read the instructions, but wanted to ask other purchasers to be sure, & YES- as another user so rudely ‘mansplained’ it stays red. I use my tools on a regular basis,& have three brands of tools; this is the only charger I have that stays red at full charge. Learn something new every day.

battery also compatible with older DeWalt drill
I needed a vibrating cutter and got a DeWalt tool, but didn't have my charger and batteries for my 20V drill with me where I was staying for this project. I did some heavy, extended cutting at the highest speed to slice through old lath and plaster, and was satisfied with the battery life. The %-of-charge LED indicator is a nice feature, allowing me to schedule my work sequence to allow for a charging break since I didn't want to buy two batteries just for this project. Afterwards, I checked the fit and function of the battery on my older DW drill, and it worked just fine.
