Areetha/Aritha Soap Nuts
I have used these soap nuts over 30 years ago, when my hair was very long. All I remember was that my eyes would smart up and tear like crazy when the liquid would get into my eyes! To my delight, I discovered them on Amazon and have used it two times already. I love the way my hair feels after I've washed them with Areetha nuts. My hair is shoulder length now. For those who are using these for the first time, I soaked 3 nuts overnight in 1 cup of water. Next day, I heated the water and squeezed as much of the soap into the water as I could, discarding the nuts. To wash the hair with the liquid, I wet my hair in the shower and then applied this liquid to my hair and after a couple of minutes, rinsed all the soap out. Immediately, my wet hair felt silky to the touch. As a recommendation: For future, I will put the soapy liquid in a bottle which can squirt it on my hair. Maybe use an old shampoo bottle. It can get very messy otherwise!I know for a fact that I will continue using Areetha nuts from now on - maybe keep a shampoo bottle handy just in case I'm in a rush and need to wash my hair. Hope this review helps all. I will definitely give this product 5 stars!p.s.: These soap nuts have other uses as well. They can be used to wash woolens and silk too. I use it primarily to wash my hair.

Be careful, Use real soapberry
My name is Tony Rong, owner of Greenwill. I ordered this item because they used a Greenwill logo in the main picture. I reported to Amazon and Amazon forces the change of the picture on Jan 30th 2018, although the item picture still does not reflect the actual product buyer would receive. For below reasons I give 1 star review:1: It took ~2 month for me to receive it. This item was mail to be from India2: The berries are not de-seeded. It violates federal law to send seed to US without approval from USDA. And, people can not use soapberry with seed!3: The item picture still does not reflect the actual product buyer would receive. There are only 2 different soapberry sources in the market: Chinese soapberry vs India soapberry. Chinese soapberry is documented authentic Mukorossi species in USDA website. Chinese soapberry is rich in color and contains much more soap than those imported from north India/Nepal cold mountains. Indian soapberry is in uneven pale color and contains low natural soap content. Greenwill is the only Chinese soapberry in the market.Related pictures are posted as evidence. So glad to have found this.. This stuff is amazing for hair and laundry (the only things I have tried it for so far). My hair is ridiculously healthy after having used reetha nuts, shikakai, and amla on it for a month now. Super strong, thicker and new hairs growing in like crazy! Love discovering new/old things.
