Can this be bottled like wine?

Cider doesn't need to be heavily carbonated, actually, IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE CARBONATED AT ALL. It's all personal taste. You can also bottle them in recycled coke and pepsi plastic drink bottles since cider doesn't skunk like beer does and plastic drink bottles are made for high pressure, just use those sugar tabs just you would beer, just use less of them.

What does this kit include? Does it include the yeast, fining agents, and instructions? I'm shopping for a gift and while I am a wine maker, he has never done anything like this before. This product includes the concentrated juice, yeast, a flavoring packet, and a sweetener that is optional to use. You will need to add sugar made into a simple syrup to complete the cider.

Why does this need sugar? Is it because the apple concentrate doesn't make a full 6 gallons, or did it lose sugar in the concentration process?

It doesn’t necessarily need sugar or dextrose. If you don’t add it it the alcohol content will we lower. If you add a pound or two of sugar it will be 7-9 percent alcohol. If you add none it will be 5 percent.
