Yum! Yum! Yum!
Yum! Just wish I had more! They came without melting or being crushed, which was my concern. They're delicious. Just wish we could get them in stores on this side of the pond.

Terrible condition
The tea cakes were horribly smashed despite the packaging being fine. The chocolate so discolored it looks like it was exposed to extreme temperatures. It was hard when I cut it open. Terrible and inedible.

Tasty UK Treat!
My wife loves these. Shipping can be a bit problematic--there is usually at least one in the package that has been crushed--still edible though!

Just Ok
They were okay, sort of mediocre in taste

Delicious
I was looking for British Tea Time food items and thought I would try these. They are delicious - kind of like a Mallomar or Whippet, but totally better tasting! The chocolate is yummy, not at all waxy. The filling is more like whipped cream or icing than a marshmallow... wonderfulness.

Delicious and would buy again.
Super good. The bottom part is reminiscent of gram cracker piecrust. The fluffy marshmallow is soft, not chewy, so yummy. I thought the dark chocolate would be overpowering but I was pleasantly surprised since it's such a thin layer it was perfect. One star off only because one of them was punctured through the foil within the package (the outer package was not broken) and had dried and became stale. And for nearly $10 for 6 of them it was a bit disappointing.I didn't think of getting a photo because I still ate it and since I hadn't had them before I wasn't aware that wasn't how they were meant to taste. lol. Inspected the rest and they're all sealed and lightly poked the tops with my finger to make sure they were all bouncy. Looks like it was just the one.I still recommend them!

Squished
The way they're packaged (or maybe the way they're stored?) these get pretty beat up in transit. If you just want to try them to taste them, or if you're accustomed to eating them and enjoy the flavor, these might be fine for you.If, however, you're hoping to serve them to guests, I'd give these a miss. They're all squashed and look quite unappealing. The chocolate coating is cracked and flaking off. They don't even look good IN the foil, because they're flat and misshapen.I'd never tried them before, and I found them pretty tasty. Too sweet for me on their own, but probably a good complement to tea without sugar in.

Scrumptious
Had for the first time in London many years ago and was delighted to find them here. The combo of the soft cookie, the marshmallow (more creamy fluffy - yum - than the typical chewy marshmallow) and a thin chocolate coating go really well together. The silvery foil wrapping and cheery, sort of retro yellow and red box w cellophane “window” add to the appeal and make them look and feel like a special treat, which they are. I see them as more of a candy than a cake, since they are about half marshmallow and covered in chocolate, and small. Saw some complaints about them arriving a little smushed, yes a few of mine were a tiny bit smushed but they still look pretty in the foil and taste great so who cares. It is to be expected when ordering a delicate food item which will travel overseas.
