Deco 79 Mango Wood Functional Gramophone with Record, 14" x 14" x 26", Black

The gramophone had a lot of detail, looked exactly like the real thing. I was very pleased with this tchotchke, but I would suggest the manufacturer use longer screws to attach the horn to the base. The screws that came with the gramophone were to short to hold the horn, I barely moved the item and the horn fell off the base. Was difficult trying to find similar screws (4) they needed to be a bit longer, and screws needed to have a sharp tip to get through the base.

I received the main pieces and nothing was broken although the logo on the front is attached poorly and looks cheap. There is a tonal missing pieces that attaches the arm to the sound box. Someone else mentioned the same piece missing so I guess I should have heeded the reviews. I will be returning if I don't hear anything from the seller in the next day or two.

Missing parts, very cheap and crooked forms but so far the spinner works the table has to be straightened. This is a diy project not for the faint of heart

I collect antique record players and this is by far my favorite. Beautiful look. I do agree that the quality is not perfect but overall it is not bad for the price.

This product is the worst item ever ordered. The player plus box smelled like feces. The photos tell the story of the quality of this item. We can not be more disappointed. Returned for full refund. Be wise. Do not waste your time on this item.

This is not a workable machine. It's for display. The Wedsite doesn't clarify either way.

I bought an item like this before and the packing was horrible. It came broken wich is a shame. This one came very protected and in perfect condition.

When we got this it had some external damage, but no big deal the real problem is when we started using the gramophone to play records it would slip and grind every now and then until finally one of the gears (circled) wore out completely and now it won't play at all. This wouldn't be much of an issue if it didn't happen only a few months into ownership of it. It still looks like but for $250 I wish it would have actually worked longer.

This gramophone is not worth what I paid for it. There is a Crack along the joint of wood to the other...as pictured, the threaded adjusting screw for raising the Brass Arm ,( is tin not brass),is stripped in the Arm and will not tighten so the sound box and needle does not set onto record properly . Cannot use this phonograph at all ! Refund required for this purchase.

Dimensions are deceiving. Was well packed for shipping. Returned because the horn was not included.

Not as sturdy as the originals; but, not the heavy price tag , either! The instructions could be a bit better but I got it together just fine with a bit of logic and patience. Was sad the record had a crack in it ; but, it still plays. Lovely old scratchy sound comes through quite loud. Love it! Packing box was dinged quite a bit in a few areas but the unit was very well insulated and packed that no damage was seen on the gramophone at all. REALLY well packaged.

It took a bit of effort to assemble without instructions but it all came together.It performs just as any Gramophone would ,not what everyone might enjoy but it sounds like ones I listened to decades ago,mind you the record is in poor shape so that is a big factor but I have many 78s in my collection so not an issue and to be honest I bought this simply for visual pleasure ,I will continue to use my regular player for my music.But all in all I really like it and as I say it works.took about half an hour to get built on the old kitchen counter and now it resides in my living room. Nice size too.

Purchased at a great sale price. Wanted one for “shabby chic”decor. It will work briefly when wound and sounds very old. The horn is very thin metal and creases easily however it is a lovely conversation piece especially when I use with Bluetooth speaker.
