Unique Book on Reliability and Design for Excellence
I have read a lot of reliability books over the past few years and Design for Excellence in Electronics Manufacturing is one of the best. It contains a lot of solid information concerning printed circuit board manufacturing and other topics that I have not encountered in other books on reliability. So far I have only read the book once but will likely need to read through it a couple more times in order to fully internalize all of the new information it contains. The authors did a great service to the community by putting all of this knowledge into one handy reference.

Very useful reference for DFR
This book has prompted some great discussions and has been very helpful in specifying critical characteristics as well as FMEA activities for products our company is developing. An incredibly useful resource for anyone working on Electronics hardware development or manufacturing.

A Devil's Chaplain
Yet again Dawkins provides us with another book of clear, lucid arguments and great science to leave you awe inspired at the wonder of nature. This is a collection of his various writings and it includes articles, book reviews, eulogies and personal writings. In my opinion it is better than 'The Single Helix' by Steve Jones (that also provides many short scientific articles), as Dawkins is allowed enough space to develop his ideas for you to fully engage with them and appreciate his points. The fact that they are collated from a variety of sources, from over the years, means that the topics are varied and not restricted to x amount of pages per article. Something Steve Jones was unable to achieve in his book. Dawkins argues as keenly as ever and his passion comes across on every page. If you're a fan of Dawkins you won't be disappointed with this book, and if you're new to his work then this isn't a bad place to start.Feel free to check out my blog which can be found on my profile page.

Great, but not easy, read
Do not read this book before bedtime! You need all your wits about you to concentrate on what Richard is saying especially the science bits which could take a few minutes longer to read, but you know it will finish with the essay. What a wonderful read. I'm savouring it and choosing particular times of the day to read it. I prefer it when there's a bit of emotion involved.

Dawkins is amazing. And he's practically giving it away.
Richard Dawkins is able to explain science better than anyone. Why is Brian Cox so famous when Richard Dawkins could do his job so much better? Because he's supposedly controversial. It should not be controversial to express evidence and it's philosophical consequences. This is a very readable science book.

God reveals a great sense of humour in allowing the devil to proceed with this project
I had expected something more engaging than these assorted ramblings

Reasoning versus beliefs- much more in depth evolution detail discussions.
Fascinating, extremely interesting although not easy reading but worth the effort. There is so much more information contained in and by his reviews of other writers than I think I expected. I have been reading a little each evening and on the last few pages!
