Ankovo Best Baby Thermometer for Fever, Dual Mode Forehead and Ear Integration Digital Infrared Medical Thermometer for Baby and Adults, Fast Accurate Reading with Fever Indicator.

I ordered this for my mother, as she had been complaining of some headaches and feverish symptoms in conjunction with the weather getting colder. I figured it was time to replace the old thermometer with newer technology. Here is our feedback:• Size/Design: The thermometer is appropriately sized, with a curvature to fit the palm of the hand. It is very simple to use, with just two buttons (Head and Ear)• Effectiveness: When I tried it myself, I was able to consistently get 37 degrees Celsius (give or take a few tenths). Likewise, my mother’s temperature was closer to 39, which confirmed that she was suffering from feverish conditions. Her temperature readings were a bit more volatile, as a few were pushing 40 while others were high 37s, so be prepared for some slight volatility during a fever. Also, I would note that Head seemed to be more accurate than Ear.In summary, this thermometer fit our needs, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick and generally accurate reading.

Seems accurate and is easy to use. I found it a bit difficult to get the one piece off when using in the ear but sweeping across the forehead is easy. I noticed on the Amazon product page when ordering there were instructions to convert from Centigrade to Fahrenheit reading and wondered why. It's because there are no instructions for doing so in the instruction manual that comes with it which I consider a major fail and why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.

We just had a baby about 11 weeks ago and got one of those cheap thermometers in a gift set. When it came time to take our babies temperature we had no idea how to do it. We searched on amazon and chose ANKOVO and it’s been one of my favorite purchases. It not only makes it easy to take our babies temp but ours as well and its so affordable. This is definitely going to be my go to buy for other moms!

This is a really convenient device to have at home. No more waiting, which is the case for traditional digital and mercury thermometers. Shows the temperature instantly. I did a number of consequent measurings and the result was pretty consistent, well within the documented inaccuracy of +/-0.2C. I'm curious to compare this device against a mercury thermometer. Will do when I have a chance.

We were excited about this product after reading it was highly rated on multiple sources online. Received the thermometer recently and wasn't able to get it working right. Tested it on my wife multiple times and it read her temp as 109*. She's visibly smoking hot, but I know that reading isn't accurate. After a couple days of resetting and doing what I know to do, it still was reading really high temps. Had to return the product unfortunately.

I was looking for a thermometer for myself. It’s easy to use, except that I received inconsistent readings when I checked my forehead and then my ear right afterwards.

This is not accurate at all. I checked my wife’s temperature when I first opened the package and I got a 99.8. Immediately checked again and got 101.7, immediately checked again and got 102.4. I have tried the ear and forehead and I can’t get a consistent reading. Checking the forehead is worse. I would not recommend buying this product.
