I originally got there to use as a backup pair of shears for when my regulars (kenchii and buttercup) shears are at the sharpener. These are light, very durable and sharp! I run a salon and see anywhere from 5-10 dogs a day and I was very impressed at these shears. I honestly didn’t think I’d get much for $40 and man I was wrong! I almost prefer these over my kenchii Japanese steel shears. The straights are okay, but the curves and thinning shears are perfect! I usually end up using these daily, the curves have been great for just about anywhere on the dog. The thinning shears blend flawlessly and give all my grooms that nice finishing touch. I highly recommend these for anyone, especially skeptic professional groomers. I was pretty skeptic at first, but like I said...I was wrong. These shears are amazing! You really won’t be sorry, give them a try and see what they can do. I’m so glad that I did! They work just as good as the other expensive brands that you see! I attached a photo from a groom earlier this week, all I used was the curves and thinning shears that day and I’m falling even more in love with with!

I am a professional groomer and I already have a set of the black titanium ones. I wanted these as backups/replacements of those. I absolutely love these thinners. They are very sharp. Granted that that need to be sharpened about every month but they do thw job very well. They are lightweight and very smooth. I also have Kenchii Scorpions but I would rather use these since they are not as heavy. The purple are matte btw. Would have been prettier if they were glossy.

Very sharp comfortable in hand . made with Premium material looks like it’s going to less a long time. After cut is way better than the other 2 Times . Still learning . Reason purchased this Is pet grooming cost too much . Now I can save 80 dollars every time I groom my dog on my own .

Good price and quality set of shears to cut my doodle's fur. The length of these shears is long enough to get the job done quick. And I love that this set come with a metal comb. Which some brand of metal comb cost $10-$15 alone.

This is a really nice kit. We are NOT professionals and just do our one Lhasa Apso at home. So we don't know how it would work for the pros, but for home use it is recommended. Tools are very sharp Since the tools are sharp they cut accurately. They are also shaped so they are easy to hold and use. The kit has all the tools we need to cut our dogs hair except for an electric razor which is not part of the kit.

I’m a professional groomer and these shears are completely blunt . Had them sharpened and they got blunt again within a week . Seems to be made out of cheap material

Nice set however the blades are a bit rough edged and grippy when in use. Not smooth compared to my wahl scissors but good for a back up pair for my biz

Scissors work great! Shears needed to be tightened but overall great starter kit.
