RV with LEDs
Ok, so hubby and I were wanting to replace the incandescent bulbs in the RV with LEDs. We were looking for a way to do it without tapping into our boys piggy banks. I started looking on Amazon and came across these and others similar to these. Given the price, I could manage to buy 2 packs of 10 and outfit our entire RV.As other reviewers mentioned, they are stubborn going into the socket but they do fit, just press firmly at the base of the bulb. Before I changed out the old bulbs the converter box would click on with the incandescent lights on. Now, the hum is gone. (I'm sure there is a more technical way of explaining that with watts and voltage power usage mentioned but it is what it is.) These lights are nice and bright with a crisp clean look to them. I have ordered the warm white 10 pack for more ambient light in the sconce for use when we are watching TV in the living area and the bedroom areas. But I really think I like the cool white everywhere else, ex: kitchen counter, bathroom, over the dinette and hallway.)Very happy with the product. All the lights worked, were all the same color temp (not mismatched like other reviewers mentioned) and priced phenomenally for the quantity given ~$2.40 ea. These were sold and shipped by Amazon so it was speedy. The others I just ordered are apparently on the fourth slow boat out of China so it will be after the 4th of July before I get them but I am expecting the same quality of product.

Not the brightest bulb in the RV, but the most cost-effective and energy-efficient
I bought 20 of these for my 2010 Jayco. I was confused at first about the kind of bulbs I needed, since the whole socket comes out of the base, but the wires are permanently attached. It wasn't until I fiddled with it a little bit that I realized that the glass part of the bulbs just slides right out. I checked the size of the socket against the old bulbs, and they are almost exactly the same size (within 1/2 millimeter). These are noticably whiter/bluer than the old bulbs. Also, they aren't quite as bright, but they are more directional so they are bright enough. Best of all, these are inexpensive. I had no DOA bulbs. They come in a little smoke-colored static-resistant envelope that smells slightly fishy. They do take a little force to push them in (pushing on the socket part only), but I was able to change out all 20 in about 10 minutes. Now the priceless part of this is the energy savings. For longer camping trips at non-electric sites, it will allow us to go longer without worrying about running out of electricity. Granted, you still have the water pump and furnace to worry about, but being able to use 1/7 of the electricity for lighting for the cost of a few bulbs and 10 minutes of time is well worth the investment in my book.If you have an RV and you're on the fence, just buy these. You won't regret it.

Like them, but they may be fragile...
I agree with another reviewer's comment that these bulbs seem fragile. When you get them I think you to will understand. I installed 10 of these bulbs and learned early how best to hold them. And where to push. All my bulbs went in ok (I did use some wd-40 to help with the install into socket). I did have one bulb make a 'cracking sound.' But it did light up!These bulbs are not as bright as the sister bulbs 194-24-5050, But, the difference is minimal. Have had the bulbs installed for several weeks and like them. The warm color range is very good. I have chooses to use the Grv T10 921 194 24-3528 bulbs where I prefer slightly less light. Bulbs are installed in a 2012 Montana and working fine. PS: only reason I gave 4* is that there will be a few of you out there break a bulb or 2 while trying to get it in a socket (I had many that were a tight-fit).

Hard to install but worth the effort
Works well but hard to insert lamp into socket since the metal conductors were not properly bent. I carefully bent them with a needlenose pliers and they inserted with lots of force. Since I couldn't grab the socket well, this insertion was still a problem. Light is bright and only is on one side of the device, which is as expected. This may be an issue for those who expect a lamp that radiates like an incandescent --- in all directions. Power usage is very low and heat is also low. I found that my camper had too much voltage for the cheaper 12v lamps so I bought these that allowed a greater range.

Great choice for RV bulb replacement
Used these to replace incandescent 921 bulbs in our Jayco travel trailer which emit tremendous amounts of heat. I tried a few others here on amazon and found these to be the brightest of the soft white bulbs. They are very close in brightness compared to the incandescents they replaced. The two advantages to these are far less heat and an 80% reduction in power consumption which is a big deal if your running on battery power. Most of our light fixtures had black marks on the plastic from the heat emitted by the old bulbs. With the led bulbs installed I feel no warmth on the lens cover. Definitely one of the best upgrades you can make for any RV or travel trailer. Id also recommend buying the soft white version for a more natural light look.

Good Color and Great Brightness
I really like the soft light of an incandescent bulb and brightness is important as we have too few windows in our RV. After installing these I thought they were a slightly different color (not as soft as the incandescent) and possibly not as bright. But after having them in for a month, I'm very impressed with the color (not at all bothered by it) and the brightness is slightly more bright. Lastly, my wife installed the bulbs and said that 3 of them (out of 20 we purchased) didn't work. The sellers offered to send 3 more to replace them but I tested out the extra bulbs and all of them work. There was a case or two that I had to twist it a bit to get it to come on but nothing extreme and only took me 10 seconds to get a couple of them working fine - all the others worked perfectly upon installation.

ca/gp/product/B00EDFM3B2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4 These are great too just not as bright
See my review of the 5050 SMD version below: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EDFM3B2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4These are great too just not as bright. I use them where I don't need the amount of lumens.Even my wife thinks they are great improvement.5050 version:All as proclaimed, bright, and quick shipping. Also bought the following with the 3528 SMD below:https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EDFM5QU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5These are much brighter and work excellent in my RV (2006 Jayco) dome lights and outside "porch" lightI used the 3528 SMD ones in the under cabinet and bed lights. I used one of each in the bathroom as it did not require the brightness of two of the 505 SMD lights. The two versions match well in colour temperature and are both warm white.Note as mentioned in some reviews I bought the AC/DC compatible "bulbs" and these do not flicker when on shore power.Apr2017: these are still going strong and bright.

For price, a great buy (hopefully!).
For the price you can't seem to really go wrong. Durability and time will tell as I haven't had a chance to give them a long term tryout. Quite bright and saves a TON of energy vs. original lighting. Great if you camp in RV on battery power. Only real drawback (as some have stated and may not be for all), is that it was VERY difficult to get them into original rv light sockets. At first I didn't think they would fit at all. With some cursing, swearing and maneuvering fingers and with assistance of a screwdriver, got them all installed. Hope they stand test of time, but as of today seem like a great buy!

Great replacements for the original RV bulbs
Used this 10 pack of bulbs in my travel trailer and they work great. The light output is comparable to the original bulb, only slightly less intense. Same colour temperature though. And at 1.5 watts / bulb compared 18 watts / bulb of the originals, I can have all 10 of these LEDs on and still draw less power than one of the original bulbs. It shows too. I can turn every light in the trailer on and the inverter fan doesn't even come on. Another big bonus is no heat. These LED bulbs stay cool to the touch unlike the finger blistering originals.

Can't go wrong with these bulbs
We just bought a used 2011 Jayco Featherlite trailer and I wanted to do an easy upgrade to LED lighting. I bought these and they are fantastic. They glow brightly and run cool. What more can I say, they are lights and they light up!Just be careful when you install them. The round part with the actual LEDs is fairly fragile. Do NOT push them into the lamp holding them by this part. Push from the ring on the bulb base, otherwise you risk snapping the LEDs off the base.
