If you have any interests in aromatherapy, making or using blends for yourself or friends, family or clients.. this book is a must!

I enjoyed reading this book and I am happy to add it to my collection, but like every book you find some of the information you are in search of, but not all. But either way I am sure that maybe my next exam will have questions that this book will provide the answer to. All in all I am glad to have found it .

This book is going to attract only the most avid fans of aromatherapy and that's fine. Novices wouldn't be as thirsty for more knowledge in this area so wouldn't appreciate Gattefosse's contribution to the amazing history of essential oils. Simply put, those, who are serious users and teachers in this venue, need this book in their library.

Not for everyone......If you are not interested in science and history of essential oil clinical use you may find this lacking. I can't say I loved it enough! The knowledge I can could be found no where else! Must read for any one interest in aromatherapy and he science of EOs

One of the first, (if not THE first book in the modern age) ever written on the practice of Aromatherapy.Translated from the original french, but a very easy read.If you are a serious practitioner, you should have this book in your library. Period.

I presented a Casual Introduction to Aromatherapy speech at the college here. This book was extremely helpful in providing evidence of history events and research done by Gattefosse. Highly recommended if you are interested in know the beginnings of aromatherapy research.
