Absolutely easy to put together and sturdy
I got the one from Amazon warehouse. It wasn't in the original packaging. But that's it. Every screw, every washer etc were neatly and separately packed. Package had a QC seal from warehouse. The mount was very sturdy and very easy to put together. I had bought some mounting screws before the package arrived. But they were not needed. Everything that was needed to mount the projector was within the package.I mounted my LG PF1500 on it. The screw positions on this projector is a little tricky - not in the corners of the projector. But, I was able to fit the mount on it, and the slots on this mount allowed me to do it with ease.Today, I enjoyed my first movie on it, and loved the experience.Only problem with the purchase was how the UPS guys delayed my package 3 days.

What I really liked is that there are only 2 allen screws holding ...
I purchased this mount for a view sonic projector. The included universal mount works well to fit my projector. In my particular situation, I had to mount my projector to a cement wall. The install instructions walked me through it and I used a masonry bit (purchased separately from home depot for $5), the package also included extra screws for this situation, which I am very grateful for. My only complaint as with a few others who purchased this mount, is that it has a slight "slack" or "give". Not to say its flimsy plastic, because its not. I just wish it was a more solid construction and nothing was loose. Because of the slight "give" I had the essentially mount it upside down (from picture). This solved two problems for me.1. Having it right side up, the projector could be set up lower on my wall vs having it installed high on a wall. The "give" essentially drops your viewing. Meaning if you propped your projector up to a certain height to fit the viewable area on the screen/wall. When installing the mount to the same height, you need to adjust it to be much higher now because of the "slack" will cause a significant drop in viewable area.2. I did not need to "flip" the menu/screen because my projector is now right side up. So, if I completely shut down my projector (unplugged) I don't need to fiddle with the menus every time to invert the screen upside down. What I really liked is that there are only 2 allen screws holding the mount/projector up. So, removing the 2 allen screws allows me to remove the mount and projector. Keeping only the "U" shaped base on the wall. That can be hidden now with a painting or an unsightly huge protrusion on my bedroom wall. One thing that really bothers me is 1 screw that is very loose and needs to tightened constantly. I am thinking of buying my own bolt and wing nut. This is the center screw (pictured here at the center of the "L" shape of the mount) comes loose very often. If loose, your viewing area changes constantly.Overall 4 stars for a great universal mount. 5 stars if the manufacturer can improve on the build quality and fix the slight "give" and center screw.Other plus: Different size screws for different projector manufacturer. Should cover most popular manufacturers.

Everything I Expected
This projector was everything I expected it to be. Simple design wall mount. I don't understand why some other reviews say it doesn't tilt or that the hardware was not right. I had 0 problems mounting our Epson 7210 to the wall. The swivel/Tilt part of the mount is right were the down tube attaches to the projector mount and you can adjust the amount of tension on it simply by tightening the downtube nut.. as it says in the instruction sheet although the english translation is pretty terrible. I would definately purchase this item again.

Pretty good, but tough to adjust
This projector mount looks pretty decent and the build quality seemed good, but now that I have installed it I have some issues with it:- Stiffness: the mounting arm easily rocks from side to side and rotates within the extension sleeve making adjustments difficult because of how it rocks back and forth.- Projector Adjustment - if I had it to do again I would look for a mount which has the "gimbel" adjustment (image rotation left/right and up/down) exposed. This particular mount gets adjusted by a nut which, when the projector is attached, cannot be reached. You have to take off the projector, loosen the nut, blindly make the adjustments to the dome-shaped plate, re-tighten the bolt, then re-attach the projector and hope that you got in the ballpark. Not ideal to say the least. The price was good, but if I had it to do over, I would go with the OTHER Mount-It projector mount (for both wall and ceiling installation) rather than this one, for roughly the same price. It has the adjustment hardware exposed.

DO NOT BUY!!!
One of the worst product purchased from Amazon. It has so much of play that it's practically impossible to adjust it, and even if you are able to adjust it, you won't be able to keep it stay that way. Here are the problems:1. The nut to rotate the projector is under the mounting bracket - HOW CAN YOU ADJUT IT ONCE ALL THE NUTS HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE???2. The arm is not sturdy i.e. after you hook it to wall and extend it, you will notice a little bit of shift(up or down)3. The circular thing to hold to the projector is amazingly CONFUSING. once you put the two screws together the third one will make the projector up or down.I purchased this mount couple of years back and spent good amount of time, and now again when moving again the same thing. Will find a good mount somewhere... Good Luck!

The result is perfect stability. Attached is a photo of the final ...
I have this unit connected to a fairly light-weight LED projector. It performs the job of mounting the projector to the wall flawlessly. In order to compensate for my wall, I bought a couple of steel plates at Lowe's and painted them black with some inexpensive flat black spray paint. I had to drill a few holes in the metal and come up with a few extra mounting screws, also purchased at Lowe's. I was able to mount the universal projector wall mount to the metal plates. The result is perfect stability. Attached is a photo of the final result mounted to the wall.
