My 6 year old grandsons favourite book.he's read it to me a couple of times already.very interesting and well written and illustrated.

If you have kids, these books are a must have- they are funny, empathetic and poignant. I love them.

Super story good bedtime material

Very nice quality book. Printed on quality paper and of course a great story and very amusing for children and their grownups!

Written in a knowing manner that give children the feeling that they have an inside track on the story and holds their attention throughout the story. Fun for the adult reading it to them too!

Lovely book about all the lost crayons. Not as charming as the first book The day the Crayons Quit but still liked. Also longer but with some new characters and we like glow in the dark crayon page as it’s textured.

Bought this and another "Crayon" book for my 7 year old grandaughter. She is a fluent reader and wanted to read it to her mother.They both thoroughly enjoyed it and found it really funny.

My 6 year old son's favourite book is 'The Day The Crayon's Quit' - well it was! Tonight we surprised him with the sequel (I pre-ordered this months ago and it's been really hard not to tell him, as it's something he'd been wishing for since the first book) the look on his face was priceless! Every page made us laugh out loud. Well worth the wait! If you're new to Oliver Jeffers or not, this book comes highly recommended, but buy the prequel too. From 'Lost and Found', 'Up and Down', 'The Way Back Home', 'How To Catch A Star', 'The Incredible Book Eating Boy', 'Stuck' and 'The Heart In A Bottle' to name but a few, 'The Day The Crayon's Came Home' is another children's classic that is an absolute joy to read to your child. Oliver Jeffers is pure genius!

We bought two books for the grandkids that are four years old and they both love to listen as you read to them. I have read other books in the same series and they are all good.

Mio figlio di 5 anni e mezzo adora questo libro. Lo leggo e lo rileggo tutte le sere. Ha anche preso ispirazione per disegnere quando abbiamo acquistato il primo libro. Lo consiglio. La storia e belissima i bambini piccoli imparano i colori mentre quelli piu grandicelli possono usare il libro per imparare a disegnare oltre che asoltare simpatiche storie di come sono stati trattati i colori..

Love the book! The illustrations are just so lovely and honest and very imaginative. I love how children can access their imagination too looking at these illustrations and think their own stories. Also, it is so great to introduce them, especially 3 yr olds to different countries and sports and parts of the world!
