Great shower! A little tip.
Just got this installed yesterday. Was a breeze to install and works perfectly. One issue I had is when I turned on the handheld shower most of the time the temperature gauge and LED light would not work. I decided to look into it today and it was pretty easy to take apart unscrew the outer ring then unscrew the four screws then you should be able to take the center part that has the LED out what I found out was underneath the LED lights there is a cover that forces water into the hydropower propeller apparently there was some styrofoam in the line or something and when I turned it on that styrofoam got packed into that little area. Was able to remove all the styrofoam and clean everything out put it back together and everything is working as it should. One thing of note make sure you set the Fahrenheit or Celsius dip switch before you install it once it's in and caucked to the shower it would be a pain to remove it just to switch the dip switch. All in all looks great and works as expected. I did remove the water limiting orifices because I like more flow..

Nice addition to any shower
The main body is mostly plastic but does look and have nice finishes. You cant tell once it is mounted that it is plastic. Water temperature display without a battery is very nice. The 8 jets are just misters and do not provide a message effect. Was not difficult to install. Most important, the wife loves it and is much better than just a shower head.

Decent product, easy to install, good value
I'm remodeling several bathrooms in my home and was looking at spa shower modules as an easy value enhancing upgrade. For the price, this unit meets the basic spa shower requirements of rainfall, handheld and body shower nozzles. However, neither the rainfall head or the handheld head are multifunction as described in the photo shown in the description. I did not discover this until after I had installed the unit (too late to return). [Edited 8-June-2012: The seller, Trade Station, has contacted me to state that the incorrect photo will be replaced.] The useful backlit temperature display can be changed between Celsius (the default) and Fahrenheit. There also seems to be a language option (none / Chinese?). The temperature sensitive color shifting LED lights embedded in the shower heads are a bit gimmicky but they do serve as a quick indicator as to the temperature of the water before stepping in. I uninstalled the unit from the primary bathroom and re-installed it in my least used bathroom in the basement. I purchased the Stainless Steel SPV962332 Thermostatic Shower Panel model to replace the reviewed model in my primary bathroom. For the additional $150 the SPV962332 unit has a similar appearance and does have multifunction spray heads as well as a thermostatic water control valve.

Awesome customer service
This is my second Blue Ocean shower and I have been very happy with the product overall. It is easy to install, I love the "rain drip" shower head, the hand held and the temperature display. I bought my first in 2012 and decided to replace it with a newer model in 2019. The price is very good for this type of product and I would have bought a more expensive version except for some reason Amazon couldn't ship them to California for reasons I didn't understand. But this review is not so much about the product but about customer service which is fantastic. As a homeowner I've learned that customer service is extremely important as not all things work as they should. For this product the shower the LED lights stopped functioning after four months of use. I have always been reluctant to contact customer service for as most homeowners know you can often get the run around and/or replacement parts can be terribly expensive. So for the past few months I tried to find the solution myself but after scouring the forums, replacing batteries and so on just couldn't get the LED lights to work again. So I decided to give Spa Outlets customer service I try after learning it was still under warranty for a few more months. My expectations were so low that I asked they at minimum just provide instructions on how to just fix it myself. Spa Outlets responded the next day and are sending me a new shower head! I was overjoyed!! I had expected they would tell me I could buy a new shower head for around $80-$100 but instead they are sending me a new one for free! This is really great and lets me know that Spa Outlets stand by their products. Thank you very much Spa Outlets and I'll look for you first the next time I upgrade again. You have excellent service!!

It on last 6 months the header and small head stopped working and the tubing is weak I wouldn’t recommend it the only thing it has going for it is it looks but don’t let that fool you

Super shower!
I'm having 2 showers redone. I bought 2 Blue Ocean shower panels. This is the first one, just installed. I love it. My contractor found it pretty easy to install. It looks great (better than the picture) and the shower features are terrific!

Love this shower!
We bought this shower in January when starting a bathroom remodel. Just installed it yesterday and took my first shower this morning. It is amazing and we love it. One of my favorite things has got to be the lights that let you know when the water is hot. The controls are easy to understand. The body sprays are not very strong (probably because of our water pressure) - so doubt we will use that feature. Only thing that's a negative is that the price is 45% less than what we paid in January. So now it is REALLY a good deal!

Did a recent bathroom renovation, so decided to go with the shower tower from Blue Ocean. I had installed one for a friend in the summer, and she loves hers. Also the Blue Ocean with the blue tempered glass. It arrived quickly, no issues, well packaged. I have an older home with old (dated) tiles which I'll likely redo down the road but wanted to change my tried and true Moen faucets I have throughout my home. My first concern was quality and longevity of the product, and Home Budget was prompt to respond to questions I asked on that and parts availability, etc. Her model had adjustable body sprays and hand shower, this one is a fine spray only and no extra settings on the hand shower. But the body spray feels very nice as it is so can't compare it to a multi setting one I've never tried. I was fortunate to have access to a wall void to install shut off ball valves and redo the plumbing to accommodate the fittings needed for the braided supplies from shower panel. Very happy with this so far, and time will tell how good they are made and last. I got over 25 years with my Moen cartridges, which are lifetime warranty and don't expect the same with this, but like the looks and happy to try it. I'm baffled when places like Home Depot charge 3 times the price for their shower towers, and don't even offer 8 body sprays or a tub spout option.

I love this shower! It's absolutely beautiful and for the price it's unbeatable. It was easy and quick to install providing your water entry is at the bottom. The pressure is great and the 6 jets almost make it like a steam option. The temperature is very precise so you can set it at exactly the same temp every time. The spout at the bottom is rare so it's an added bonus. Makes it so easy to clean the shower and fill large buckets of water for eg.

The panel itself is nice in terms of water flow and look. I wish the hand sprayer had other options but it just comes with one setting (I knew this when I purchased so it’s not impacting my star rating). However; we turned the shower on once and everything worked, the lights, display, etc and then went to actually use the shower and the display no longer works. I figured it would die over time but only after the 2nd time turning it on? Weird!’ I would still recommend over spending the $700+ on other panels. Oh, the mirror is NOT anti-fog which I also found to be weird.

This shower unit looks great, is really easy to install and has good water pressure. I ordered this as I already have one and liked it so much that I put one in a new bathroom. You can’t use two functions at one though. You have to turn the selector knob to either the overhead shower, the hand wand or the jets. If you put it between two, you lose some pressure. Overall, a good shower for the price.

The unt looks like it does in photos - And as it was broken on delivery I did not have a chance to install or use it. My initial findings - cheaply made - all plastic plumbing - no brass - the instructions are horrible. No dimensions given for height of mounting bracked to comapre to height installed. I cannot imagine the chromed plastic parts being up to the rigours of a shower. it is similar to recent plactic chrome parts I have seen from even high end plumbing suppliers (ie Moen) The chromed plastic is suseptable to water marking - soap scum marking - and edge corrosion. I was not a fan, but as I said, not only used by this company - its an induistry trend - it was one of these chromed plastic parts that was broken on delivery.
