My son prefers over leather, stay on his feet and hold up well
My son is 9 and hopes to be a professional classical ballet dancer. He currently dances about 14 hours a week except for summer intensive, which was 30 hours a week (for four weeks). Of that, about 3-4 hours a week is in other shoes or barefoot, most of the time he is wearing ballet shoes. He has two pairs of shoes he alternates between and the photos show the more worn pair after about six months when I noticed the condition and replaced them (this 6 months includes summer intensive). What we like about them:My son says they are more comfortable and stay on his feet better. They last a really long time. He's dancing more than he did when he was wearing leather shoes and they are lasting much longer, I'd say about three times as long. They are inexpensive so he always carries an extra pair just in case. He's never had these malfunction but he had a couple shoe crises in previous brands and it gives him peace of mind to have extras just in case. What we don't like about them:They don't have as nice a line. He's a boy so he's usually wearing black shoes and black tights on a black floor so no one will notice but if you're really looking for a nice line, you'll want to check if this gives you what you're looking for before counting on it. It took a few classes for my son's teachers to realize his feet were just as beautiful as ever, he was just wearing different shoes. There's a little bit of white writing on the black shoes that we scribbled over with sharpie. No big deal unless you don't have a black sharpie or forget to scribble them out ahead of time.

Good shoes, but measure before purchasing!
Very good shoes, but I should have measured my daughter's feet before I ordered them, because I wanted to surprise her for Christmas. I just ordered her shoe size (adult size 8, so I ordered 8.5s), and they were HUGE on her. I should have measured her foot and ordered a size 3. I've gotten her a new pair, and I guess I'll donate the shoes to her ballet school's box for girls who've forgotten their shoes. Maybe I'll put a note on them that, if these monsters actually fit you, you can have them.

Save money. Buy these.
Very pleased. These are well made and they appeal to my highly critical daughter. Excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the strength and durability. BUYING FOR A THIRD TIME. These have been awesome. My daughter loves the criss cross elastic, the split sole, the canvas fabric, AND that there is no bow (elastic tie around the foot).

Exactly what I want and need
This is my second order of these slippers. They are absolutely wonderful.I wear ballet slippers as house slippers, as they are comfortable, quick to put on, and can be washed. I have tried several other brands, and none have come up to the quality for the price that these provide.I have worn my previous pairs daily for nearly 18 months, and they are finally on their last legs. I have had to resew the pads a few times, but that's okay with me, as the rest of the slippers have worn like iron. I have walked on cement, gravel, and dirt with these things, and still they march on.I am very finicky with my slippers, and these fit the bill perfectly.

Very cute and well made, run a tiny bit small
Very cute. My daughter looked adorable. The fabrics are nice and the sole is nice. They seem durable and strong. Color is pretty. Came in cute envelope. Only con is that they run very very small. I purchased the smallest size available which was a 8.5 toddler and they fit my 2 1/2 year old who is normally a size 6 and they fit her pretty well, just a little bit of space.

Basic shoe, great for little kids
Seem to be well made. The measurements for sizing didn't help. I went based off that and hey were too small. I'll be returning them and I already purchased the right size. I ended up getting the size shoes my son wears in regular shoes and it's perfect. Not the softest material, but my son said they're comfortable.

Not sized correctly. Thin starchy material.
I have never bought ballet shoes before so I can't give an adequate assessment, however the shoe size was too small. I bought my daughters exact size. I was told by several people ballet shoes usually run big, these were an entire size too small. Quality was what I would consider poor but for the price I suppose it was befitting. Good for my younger child who ended up with them instead of my older daughter, who I bought them for. She plays around the house in them.

Fit, Works Well
They're not professional, I don't think (I'm not a professional), and they're a little baggy and look more like strapped-on socks than anything. There's no toe box. BUT - if you're just starting out and need something inexpensive and soft, these are cute and nice to wear.
