Excellent. Restored the sharp edge on my Cutco knives.
Typically I only write reviews for products I've bought that have really worked well. This is one of those products. I've had a set of high quality Cutco knives for years, and they needed to be sharpened. I didn't want send them off to be sharpened by Cutco, and the Cutco knife sharpener sold on Amazon is quite expensive. So I took a chance on this relatively inexpensive Henckels, and I couldn't be more pleased. It quickly restored the edge on the Cutco knives, they are as sharp as the day I got them, and the edge is clean.

Works well and is quick
I was suspicious of this sharpener, but thought that Henckels would probably not sell something that damages their knives. I have now used one for 5 years and another for a couple and they work great keeping knives sharp

Knives back to like new!
Purchased this to replace a mediocre sharpener we've had in the past. It's amazing at sharpening both kitchen knives and my EDC pocket knife (it's a beater). Very easy to use and stays stable on the counter when sharpening. Easy to store away in a drawer as well when not in use - relatively compact. Our knives are back to feeling like new.

Doesn’t sharpen as well as expected
Bought this to replace a much cheaper EdgeCraft sharpener. I have all Henckels knives, which I love. Unfortunately, they did not sharpen as well with the Henckels tool. Followed the instructions that said up to 20 times on the Coarse side and 6 times on the Fine side - not impressed. I went back to my EdgeCraft.
