I've been eyeing these su[er tailored skirts for months and couldn't decide if the 18 was right fr a plus size goddess like myself without the dreaded muffin top... The owner herself contacted me via instagram and after a quick conversation I placed my order and BAM it arrived in 24 hours via Amazon and PEOPLE, LISTEN UP.... This skirt is the BOMB! I look super HOT in this skirt because it is nice and fitted!! People whined about the zipper- NO ISSUES with the zipper!It fits perfectly- I can breathe- NO muffin top and trust me I am a plus size generally... I KNOW that this skirt must have been designed by a woman for women because the fit is simply fantastic! This skirt even has actual POCKETS- I do not know when the last time I actually wore clothing with pockets... IF you are indecisive about trying one of these skirts I strongly urge you to take the plunge.... YOU will be THRILLED! It is absolutely worth the $49. The fabric and color are PERFECT! I am buying another one right now, in another color!!

Love esteez skirts i think i'll have all of them before its over with but this one in partular is one of my favoirtes its just has everything going on. I am religious so i were only skirts and this one is my go to. it goes with every tee i have seems like, its fitted comfortable stylish the material is awsome and unqiue its the perfect mixture of stretch and non stretchy cloth it just my favorite i have the dark wash of this one and the light wash as well lovethem both equally And if i did'nt say it before love almost all of ESTEEZ skirts and i hope the brand grows and continue coming out with skirts sorry excuse me MODEST skirts that are still stylish and they also accomendate to all sized women ok cause i'm bit on the plus size side and esteez gets us they know how to fit us bigger girls so thank for that I just hope they come out with more and more and more skirts

This skirt is absolute PERFECTION! I have bought so many denim skirts over the years, and this is by far my favorite I have ever had! I can't put into words how great the fit is on this skirt...just trust all the reviews and order smaller than your normal size. I usually wear a size 6 in all brands, I am 5'5" and 135 lbs. I have another style esteez skirt that I was too apprehensive to order in a smaller size, so I got my usual size 6 even though reviewers said to size down...I was just too skeptical and didn't want an immodest, tight skirt that wouldn't be appropriate for church. Mistake. I still love that skirt, but the waist is so big. So, I decided to try another in a size 4...fits like a glove! It is fitted, but not in a bad way. I still feel modest without being matronly or frumpy. The slit on the back is very small, which I like. I normally try to steer clear of slits, but this one isn't long like a lot of them, so its not a problem for me. The tummy control panel is so wonderful...especially for this mom of 6 kids! It holds it all in and slenderizes and smooths any unwanted bumps without squeezing or creating a muffin top. I like that this is more of a high rise skirt, sitting closer to my waist than hips. It is so cute while also being the most comfortable skirt I have ever worn. I love the dark wash and I plan to order the light denim soon too! Just take the plunge and order a size down from what you would normally wear. You won't regret this skirt! (Update...just bought a second one in another color and they are both great, the light denim one seems a little more tapered/fitted at the knees)

I’ve been searching for a black denim skirt for SO LONG. I am so happy to say I found one that was extremely close to what I was looking for. I read through other reviews and ordered a size down. I’m around 150 lbs, 5’2”. Usually about a size 8, M/L, depending on the brand. I ordered a size 6 and I probably could have gotten away with a size 4 if I wanted a much more fitted skirt, but due to following a modest style, this turned out to be perfect. It’s very stretchy and soft. It does have a strong “new” odor, which I’m hoping will go away after a few washes. It’s very well made and I am extremely pleased. The price seems a little high, but I’m happy I took a chance with it.

I'm only giving this skirt 4 stars just because it runs a bit large. I ordered a 12(L) and it fits like a 14(XL). I love the material and thickness of it and at the same time it is so soft and comfortable. I really love this skirt but I think I need to get another but a bit smaller. it has stretch to it so plan on how you want it to fit and look. I like my pencil skirts to be fitted. To me, this purchase was a comfy purchase. this is my comfy skirt that I wear to the market or to the park. Really cute!Oh and I am 5'4" and 175 lbs... I'm a bit hippy a little thick in the booty area.

Fit great, but too long. Material is soft and stretchy and hid my little stomach pouch. I loved the fit, but it would have needed to be shortened increasing the price of the skirt. One day I might purchase it again, when I could justify spending the $40 plus the cost of alterations.

I love the modest but flattering fit... not your grandmas skirt. But long enough and just enough give in the stretchy material. Very soft and comfortable but my only complaint it that they fade and stretch out fast. I think it's the frequent washings... at any rate that's disappointing but I'll still keep buying the skirts because I love them. They dont last me more than a year though of regular wear.

This is my skirt of the summer! I also have it in the lighter denim and am so happy I decided to purchase the black! You definitely need to go one size down from your normal size for best fit. There was no smell to the skirt like some reviews say. The slit in the back gives extra movement to the skirt and actually helps it not ride up so for me, it definitely helps with modesty! The feel is buttery soft and washes great in cold water. I hang dry my Esteez denim to ensure no shrinking. Some denim is hard if you don’t put it in the dryer but not this skirt. Love it!
