I do surveying and site visits as well as general outdoor things like walking the dog and cleaning up in the yard. This is great to throw on over something heavy or light and gives me protection from the rain and high visibility without being too cumbersome. My work jackets are similar but are so thick that wearing them in the rain is an awful, sweaty mess. This is light enough to give you protection and fit either a large sweater or a thin t shirt underneath without compromising the fit. I mostly use it at home for rainy yard work and it's been my favorite winter item so far.

We live on an old back country road surrounded by farmland, where cars, trucks, and tractors treat the road like a personal speedway. Being visible out here is not optional. I wear this hi vis rain jacket when I’m shoveling at the end of the driveway and when I walk the dogs. The bright yellow color and bold reflective stripes scream “SLOW DOWN - HUMAN HERE” which is exactly what I want when traffic is flying by. The jacket keeps rain and wet snow off without feeling like I’m wrapped in a plastic bag. Since this version doesn’t have a liner, it layers easily over hoodies or sweatshirts, ect. The pockets deserve a shout out. They’re big, zippered, and actually usable. I can stash gloves, dog bags, keys, and my phone without worrying about anything falling out while I’m moving around. Fit is true to size with room to move, and overall this feels like legit work safety gear, not a flimsy rain jacket pretending to be one. If you need waterproof protection, visibility, and functional pockets for rural roads or early morning outdoor tasks, this jacket gets the job done.

Love the vibrant yellow, it really sticks out. It hasn't rained yet, so I wore it into the shower to test drive it. The fit is loose and comfortable, the pockets are amazing. Two deep front pockets with fold over flap to keep water from filling them up, a chest pocket with clear plastic front for i.d. or cell phone and a zippered pocket on the other side. High collar with hat, I don't think water will be able to sneak in and run down my back, but I didn't face the spray The cuffs are snug without being tight. I stayed dry where the coat covered me, my phone stayed dry in the i.d. pocket, and the bag of m&m's in the front cargo pocket were just fine. The lining is a mesh material that provides a comfortable barrier between the body and the rain coat. I don't think this is built to keep you warm, but it will keep you dry.

Ordered this for my son who works construction and is often outside on job sites. The jacket runs true to size (he's an XL) and is well-made. I would say it's a medium weight (i.e., not lightweight like a windbreaker), and the reflective details make it well-suited for where he works. This would also be a nice jacket to throw on for cool evening walks (when you want to be seen by driver) or for walking/running/biking the trails on rainy days. Again, it's yellow and reflective, so you will not "blend in" while wearing it. My son also liked the pockets and the clear badge holder.

Great coat for my post work walks in the dark. Does a good job keeping me dry and warm. Keeps me highly visible.
