Nice mini Laptop
Nice mini laptop for a second laptop in the house, if you have another laptop I mean a big one with a powerful processor (I3, I5) this mini laptop is excellent for doing personal stuff like navigate in the Web, photos, music... I haven't watch a movie yet but this computer supports HD movies. Mi wife is very happy with this machine. It has a 11.6 screen its perfect for the web, and small if you want to travel. The processor is not the most powerful but remember its a mini laptop, I have a Toshiba Satellite L655 and it has a Intel core I5 this one is super fast but I can not compare it with the mini laptop. The mini laptop have a 4GB of memory RAM DDR3 it work very smoothly. If you're not a power user you can buy itCarlos,

Keyboard and wireless problems
Some of the keys don't work well and need a lot of force, like the up arrow. And using the built in wireless adapter crashes it. I would return it if I lived in the US, but being out of country it is too expense. Easier to replace the wireless card and put up with the keyboard faults / and or fix them myself. My overall impression is the normal quality assurance was not completed on the laptop I got, as the faults would easily have been picked up with basic testing. If it didn't have these problems it would be a great laptop. I am able tu use it as my main computer and it works fine in other respects.

Crapy laptop (NO TRUE HD)
The laptop does not can carry the process for the HD viewing, the video slows down, and when you connected to a TV to full HD is worst

Great for a netbook, but don't expect more than a netbook
I have two full-sized laptops (14 and 17 inch) and wanted a netbook for the portability factor for school. Previously I lugged the other two laptops but contrary to popular belief laptops aren't that needed or even helpful in a class setting. So in order to do some programming while in between classes or at lunch I went netbook shopping. After significant research and reviews I went with the Acer due to a handful of requirements. For starters the screen resolution is significantly higher than other netbooks (a huge plus), and the six cell battery compared to the "standard" 3 cell. Everything else was secondary as I wasn't aiming for a media-consumption device (that's what my Kindle Fire is for).Physically it is a pretty piece of hardware. The slick casing with the ripple effect worked into the case is a nice touch (even if it is a fingerprint magnet), and the coloring/placement of the components such as the screen, keyboard, touchpad etc. was well thought-out. Not particularly heavy, but has a nice solid feeling when you heft it. Not much chassis flex. The one black mark on the physical design is the rocker-bar style mouse buttons. While not terrible it is annoying enough to periodically remind you that you need to rock it to the side more than pressing a button. The touchpad itself however works as it should and I have no complaints. There is some keyboard flexing, but most keys are full-sized (although I do keep fat-fingering a certain few on a regular basis).Performance wise is where I wish to make some buyer-beware notes. With a 64bit OS, 4GB DDR3 ram, a dedicated video card, and a dual core processor these have a lot more muscle under the hood than many netbooks, but it is *still* a netbook. While I cannot compare video streaming to other netbooks I will say that some of the problems I have seen mentioned (stuttering) are present although very minor in the sense they don't always happen and usually quit after the system gets its act in order. The buyer beware part comes in mainly for those who think this is a full sized laptop in performance packaged into a netbook. My two year old 14-incher annihilates this in performance. That's not why I bought this but thought I would mention it.For a netbook this thing is pretty capable, but I still feel that the performance should be a tad better given the specs, and I have had two situations where I had to pull the battery and reseat it before the netbook would turn on. Not worth an RMA but for the price I paid these minor issues are worth the deduction of a single star. Compared to the competition however I still feel this is the best netbook you can buy.

Plenty of power in a small package
Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.4 Gigs of RAM is more than enough for just about anything you're going to with this computer. Its not meant to play games, but you can play games that have been released a couple of years ago.Pros:- Lots of power- Lightweight, weighting in at 1.4kg- Ultra thin- Sleek design- Very nice keyboardCons:- When you connect it to the power cord, it emits a very annoying and loud BEEP. You can bypass it by either disabling sound for a couple of seconds or just plain ignoring it.- Backspace on the keyboard could be a little bigger, just a minor annoyance- THE TOUCH PAD IS OFF BY DEFAULT! :-@While this made me feel like an idiot after spending half an hour navigating various websites, updating drivers and checking EVERYTHING, before calling tech support and having the tech support guy ask me: "Is the touchpad on?".I have grown fond of it since then, when you're typing, nothing is more annoying than accidentally touching the pad and moving your cursor.PS Press Fn+F7 to activate it :)

Happy with my purchase
I am very happy with the Acer netbook ASPIRE ONE AO-722-848BZ series I just purchased. For a netbook it has plenty of power and speed for the internet it's really a great buy.You will have to purchase a external drive CD,(I Had one) but thats probably all you will need to install programs. For the money, power and performance you can't go wrong. It's a perfect size to take with you anywhere and just enjoy using it away from home or business.Amazon shipped it FREE in about 1 day and I was shocked when the FedX truck pulled up with it. I thought it would be atleast 2-3 days.I have a Logtech wireless track ball model M570 also, with that it makes it very easy to use instead of using the pad. Also purchased from Amazon, they have a very good price on that also.Very happy customer.

I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS NETBOOK
I use this netbook for everything. Word processing, watching movies, etc. This netbook functions faster and better than my larger laptops. It has never yet given me a problem with freezing, crashing, or freezing movies. I could not live without this netbook. And I have so much software installed it it, you'd be shocked, along with full Norton, Malware Bytes, etc. The battery lasts long too. If you can get your hands on one, buy it!
