Ordering again, so I kind of like them.Ordered 60 inch long to replace old 63 inch long ones. When trying, the 60 inch long stretch to 65, so, back to same too long. Apparently, the old ones were stretched to 63, while the new 60 inch WILL stretch to 65 inches (8% more).This would not be the product fault, seems good quality, just realities of wear. Returned under 'ordered incorrect size' and bought 54 inch long, with a 8% stretch factor I will end up with 59 inch, close to the 60 inch I wanted.Vendor should do own studies and enter stretch factor when tightening in the description.

I was very doubtful that these laces would make a big difference. Boy was I wrong !I originally bought these hoping that they would be better at staying tied than the original laces that came with my hiking boots, which just keep coming undone.Even though I didn't get a chance to do any serious hiking since replacing the laces, I have worn my hiking boots during a 24-hour airports/flights marathon. The laces stayed tied the whole time, so for me, that alone is worth the money.However, the biggest surprise for me was how significant the impact of the added elasticity really is. It allows me to tie the laces more tightly while still being able move my fooy freely. It really upgraded the boot experience. It feels like a completely different (and better) boot now.I haven't worn them enough to evaluate the supposed enhanced durability, but I will update this review if they don't meet my expectations.

After having my leather laces break so many times, I looked for alternatives. I use the Danner wild land fire boots and so far these laces are great. I have hiked many miles and put them through the heat of fire. So far, no problem.

I bought This to change out my boot strings to give them a diff look! Fiancé used a pair on his brown thorogood boots and they look amazing! I used Them on my navy and grey sperry duck boots and love!

Maybe the promised length is their length when stretched out.If they wear well, I would buy them again in spite of this.

Compared to the laces that come with my boots they are super heavy duty. Havent frayed at all. Which is what happened to the laces my carthartt boots come with.

I haven't had these laces for long but so far they stay fastened and seem to fasten tighter than previous laces.Also, delivery was quite fast.

Seem to be much stronger than others.
