I have two average sized (~5kg) long haired cats who have a habit of picking up knots and mats in their fur - after trying various combs and brushes, none of which worked, a local pet groomer suggested I tried this. I've been using it for a few weeks now and so far so good, it's been the only thing thats managed to comb their fur and remove most knots without pulling and causing distress. The flexible head also helps to prevent excess pressure being applied as well so the cat doesn't feel like it's being bashed around. It's not the cheapest tool out there, but worth the money.

My mum had this pet comb for her cat who hates being brushed. I got one for my cats and it’s beyond amazing. The fine comb side doesn’t hurt the cat but gets out the most amazing amount of hair - mostly from the fine layer underneath. As you can see from the picture, my short haired cat Korma, who enjoys being combed, let me comb until I got enough to knit a small scarf!! So impressive!

We recently had the cat groomer out to one of our long haired house cats. He had developed matts in his coat despite daily grooming. I have really struggled to find a comb that will go through his top coat and undercoat. The groomer recommended this comb and let me try hers on our cat and I was really impressed. I couldn't be happier with it, I just wish I had discovered it six years ago as it could have saved the trips to the vet to get his coat de-matted.

The fine comb is very good for capturing hair off my cat. The larger grooming comb is less effective for my particular moggy, but it may be more effective for longer or coarser coats. Unusually, the cat seemed to quite enjoy being combed by this, instead of trying to attack my hand.

My 21 yr old long-haired Cat was getting badly knotted.....and She was getting unhappy (claws and teeth!!!!) about the grooming needed. This WONDERFULLY designed tool not only easily removes the shedding of the heavy undercoat, breaks up tangles and knots etc........it is also very much ENJOYED by my OLD LADY!!!! The comb side of the brush is perfect for a quick once-over of my cats fur and then the de-shedding comb is great for taking care of his long hair. He seems very comfortable with it which is a bonus. The brush is quite large so it's probably not suitable for kittens, puppies or smaller dogs but it's perfect for my big fluff ball.

Simply fabulous. We have 4 hairy white dogs and this tool is a joy to use. The biggest dog loved it and stood still whilst I took a mountain of hair off her. However.....my 3 pygmy goats who are losing their winter coat absolutely adored it as I was able to rake out their loose undercoat no problem at all. Go on....just order one today.

I have to say that I am totally delighted with this product. It is far superior than other similar products. I have a long haired young tabby who was getting matted knots and was having to cut them out, but not anymore, even my elderly 19yr old does not mind being groomed with this tool. Wish I had found this one sooner.
