Fitbit Alta HR, Blue/Gray, Small (Renewed)

Amazing product. Slim and comfortable.

This fitbit did not track my heart rate - it was defective. The way it counted my footsteps did not seem to match to the amount of walking I actually did - it was exaggerated. I don't believe I really walked all the steps it registered. Also, I wanted something completely internet-free and I could not set the current time without internet. It didn't always respond when I tapped it or tilted it and the screen stayed black. Also, my wrist is too narrow for such a long "watch" face and the band did not wrap snuggly around my wrist, and the gap was uncomfortable. And it's very hard to slip the end of the band into the loop that holds it down - there is heavy friction and you have to tug very hard. On the plus side, it was light. And I like the encouraging little comments - they really did motivate me to move more. The graphics are really cute. And it looks very sleek and elegant on the wrist.

My daughter was so excited to receive her FITBIT for her birthday! She plugged it in to charge and after an hour nothing happened. My son then checks it out and said, “There’s some gunk where you plug in the FITBIT so I cleaned it off!” Tried again the next day and it still didn’t charge. The excitement of having a FITBIT turned into a big disappointment.

I like to track my sleep at night and steps during the day.

I have a Versa and wanted a second Fitbit so I could switch off. I got an Inspire HR but it would not pair with the Versa on my account, nor, I found would any of the newer models due to a software issue. When I received the Alta HR I charged it and synced it to my account where it does play well with the Versa.

The product was poorly packaged. It did not come with instructions. I was also charged expensive fees to return item. Don’t waste your time or money. Make a different choice.
