Maxxlite Silicone LED Strip Light 5 Meter Long Water Resistant RGB with Remote Control System

This is not SMD 5050 as mentioned in the description. Its 3528, so its not as bright and each led can only display only one color(RGB). For a 3528 its ok. But the description is wrong and I ended up with a product I don't want and wasted money.

"300 PCS 5050 SMD LED"; that's the reason I bought this, which it is unfortunately not; it is based on 3528. What does it mean? Okay, let me explain this a bit.A standard RGB LED (like 5050) is one LED, which can display all three colours and different levels of each to make a whole palette of colours. So you can make that LED, green, light green, blue, pink, violet or even white. A 3528 is regular LED, which can only display one colour, like green, or blue or red; not changeable but fixed to one colour. So, in this LED strip you have three LEDS in a row, one for red, one for green and one for blue (like R G B R G B R G B). So, if you just want red, all the other LED's are switched off so your strip will have blank LEDs like (R x x R x x R x x) and there is no possibility of creating combination colours, which is the reason other reviewers are saying colours are mixed on the remote; good luck creating white for example. It simply won't work. To give an example in a SMD 5050 RGB LED strip it if you wanted red, it would have been (R R R R R R).What is this good for? It's good if you want to create Diwali light effect, but if you want to use it for back lighting (like behind a TV), avoid this. Avoid this if you are buying on the promise of special price, new year special or 5050. Someone needs to correct the description on this product.

good and working very well & satisfactory. But the length of LED strip is about 4.5 meters only. Perhaps seller included the length of connecting wires also. Worth the money paid.

Not good not bad

Works like a charm plug and play and the remote works pretty good too but the adhesive isnt very strong

colours mixed up with the remote.. but woks well otherwise.
