DefenderShieldUniversal Tablet & iPad Compatible EMF & 5G Radiation Protection Case (Large - Tablets up to 12.5" x 9.25" Including iPad Pro 12.9)

The DefenderShield Ipad Cover works as promised! I was hesitant to spend so much when there were only a few reviews, but I took a chance. I have an Hf35c Rf Analyzer and tested it and as promised, the EMF readings were higher when the ipad was open (anywhere between 20/30 with 100-200 spikes) and lower when I turned it around so the shield was between my EMF reader and the open screen (less than 5). Remember that the protection is only on the "back" of the pad and not on the front cover, which is why when i spin it front to back i get protection readings and no protection readings. (When it sits on your lap you are protecting your legs and fingers if gripping it). For my test I opened various websites, loaded on google images, checked email and opened the weather app all with my hhld wifi and did it in my front hallway away from other electronics. It is an attractive cover an even has the really nice added plus of 2 indents so you can place the ipad on a higher of lower angle quite easily.

This is my second one. I like that it blocks radiation from my iPad. Of all the covers, this is my favorite. The higher cost is worth it to know it’s blocking most radiation.

As far as emf protection, I'm just going by what the company says it does. We do notice little to no heat when we use it on our laps. I require my children to use it 100% of the time. We've had ours a few days shy of 13 months. I really want to love this product but it's a bit misleading where the size of the iPad it can handle is concerned. Not only do the elastic grip-like holders in the four corners NOT grip, they fall apart. Ours started slowly ripping about 5 months after we purchased it. It constantly dislodges the iPad, which is annoying and scary since it can break or hurt someone! We have dents on the sides of our iPad because it's slid right out of the case. (By kids AND ADULTS!) I actually tried using heavy duty Velcro of the back of it to hold it on and all that happened was the heat from the iPad melted the glue on the Velcro. Also, in my second photo you can see where the elastic secure rides right over the power button. Every time they slip off and we put them back on it tries to turn off the iPad. So annoying. Really disappointed. So, so bummed we spent $90 on this!

I really like this case. It is of high quality and I feel more comfortable using one the has EMF protectionI recently asked the question about if a keyboard would fit, I was told no by seller. But YES you can find a keyboard that fits in the case and closesI added some stick on magnet strips and keyboard stays in placeI recommend

odd design, so I agree with some of the other reviews. However, the DS case came up several times in various articles I read, so I figured it had to be the best out there. I am hoping this lasts with my little ones... we shall see. I will say they need to come up with a better design in the next evolution.

I received my Defender Shield and it didn’t hold my iPad sturdy. It slipped around. One of the clips that holds it on tore. I contacted Defender Shield. They sent me a new one and it holds my iPad in one place. It no longer slips around. Glad I called them. I love this product. Thank you Defender Shield.

Tested it with the Triefield emf reader. If you hold your device on your lap maybe you won’t get radiation on your legs, but it still measures on the sides, so you’ll get radiation on your abdomen, pelvis. And the worst is that because it locks the antena, it surges even more radiation to catch the signal, so youget even more radiation. I wish I never bought this. It is better you use a emf blocking fabric like a blanket over your lap and abdomen, and it is cheaper as well.

I really like the idea of this case, and I do believe DefenderShield is a reputable company. I originally bought this case for my children, who would always be on the iPad. Like every parent who has looked at these products, I want to protect my kids against radiation exposure. However, I knew right away that this case would not protect against an iPad being dropped, and let's face it kids drop things. Adults drop things. We have all dealt with a cracked iPhone screen. The straps on this do NOT hold your iPad in place well, and they tear. All four of the strap on my case are torn and they tore within weeks of use. I spoke with the company before buying this and they informed me that I could have the iPad in a protective case and then place it within their case and that it would provide protection against radiation. I'm not sure why in the questions section the manufacturer indicated that the case was not meant to be used in this way. Well, I would say to them that it's time for a new design. Even as an adult I worry about dropping the iPad and cracking the screen. I LOVE the idea of the radiation protection from this case, but it's time for a new design. Adults and children need a case that protects the screen (meaning covering all four corner and sides up to the edges of the glass face) from shattering if dropped along with providing radiation protection. In my mind, that's a great product. I'm not sure why DefenderShield hasn't figured that out. We shouldn't have to spend $80-$100 on a case that doesn't do those two things.

I have a safe and sound pro II rv meter. Readings went from a high of about 92,000 micro watts per meter squared (not 100% sure of units) without cover to about max 12k with cover. I do think the defender shield case is blocking emf’s based on the readings I was getting. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the bracket on the corner is right over the button on my iPad and it keeps turning the screen off and then wants to power down. A little frustrating.
