Hal varian books are always a joy to read.This book provides a lot of intuition but requires mathematical maturity to understand.Before starting this book one must have know linear algebra, sequence & series,optimization and set theory (compact and connected set).

book is not for ordinary student of economics.....it is very conceptual....even hard of graduates...best for research scholars

Read this book only after Intermediate Microeconomics by Varian. If you wish to go even high read advanced microeconomics by Geoffery A. Jhele.

Sorry to tell that during my student life not received such a beautiful book.

A very important book for students pursuing post graduate in economics.

Bible of Microeconomics. Should be read after reading Intermediate Microeconomics by Varian.
