Really takes time to flesh out each character. The story of them all is fantastically woven together. They are all on their individual quests but come accross each other and their interests conflict culmimating in a gloriously described battle. The story's end [Spoilers] about how they must over come their differences and fight the darkNess(ok!) which would consume them of they stood alone, in the end the title makes sense they trully are Brothers, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Collector's editition Guide. I cried at the end.

Surprisingly informative with decent amount of data and explanation of how moves work. There are occasional minor details absent, but on the whole does a thorough job.

A really helpful guide on characters and how much damage then do with a detailed description on what the moves do. the quality of the pictures are amazing. If you like the super smash Brothers ultimate game then you will like this guide.

This book is fantastic for detailed character move information and scenarios where certain moves are most useful. No small feat given how huge the cast of characters are. Outside of that however there is very little information on the various modes etc. But as a guide for the characters it’s pretty exhaustive and tells you everything it can outside of you playing and finding out for yourself Personally I’m fine with that as this will be a fantastic guide for getting to grips with new characters On the minus side I’ve fell victim twice to Amazons ‘suck it and see’ packaging. First copy was heavily dented second copy is less dented along with a manufacturing defect on the spine and I just can’t be bothered to go through getting it replaced a third time. The packing is frankly useless for such a heavy book and I don’t think I’m being unreasonable expecting something to show up perfect when buying something new

Brilliant Quality, very detailed Description of each fighter, what there attacks are and how to do them. Also comes with a digital code so u can have it on your tablet/phone.

I have the Collector's Guide. I'm not aware how Nintendo can force Prima to actually use ticker, better paper and inks for Game Guides covering Nintendo titles but this is still the case and I’m glad. The printing and manufacturing is of higher quality compared to other Prima releases having the "Collector's" tag. About the content of the guide - basically there is a detailed breakdown for each fighter that is included in the base game. You can gain knowledge for your favorites and learn in which areas they excel and where they are lacking. Who can beat them down easily and who should be afraid of them. Of course the game already was updated with some balances were made. This for sure will introduce differences between the stats in the game and the ones in the guide but I don’t believe that the style of the fighters will be changed to such extend that renders the information inside the book useless. There is also a big section dedicated to glossary, terms and mechanics accompanied with tables which is actually helpful to understand what is happening under the hood of the game. Unfortunately this is the only information that is worth there. Other things like different modes, spirits, adventure mode (single player campaign), tips and tricks for unlocking new fighters are mentioned just in the beginning of the guide situated on 6 pages (2 of them only with pictures). Personally I was hoping to see a guide to Adventure mode with suggestions which paths to take considering certain unlocks you're after. Instead there are a few paragraphs that sparingly inform you that such things as spirit teams, unlockable fighters, the skill tree exist. There is a “Maps and Paths” section that actually tells you nothing. It only consists of 4 maps and predefined paths with numbers. You are not informed if the drawn paths are the best ones and why they were chosen in the first place. Not a single word about amiibos! Not like these are super important but still - amiibos were started as toys to life with Super Smash Bros! On the other hand you can't even use the guide as an art book because there is not much art there. It's very clean and up to the point. The guide is lacking in so many areas that it's ultimately a Collector's Edition not because of its high value and information inside but because it should be bought only by those that have to have everything related to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! If you are that person – go ahead! If you’re not – try the internet. You’ll learn much more for free.

My grandson apparently really needed this book and was over the moon Christmas Day when he opened his gifts

Esta guia o como yo le quiero llamar libro de arte es muy parecido en calidad y acabado a la enciclopedia de Mario o los libros de Zelda como Hyrule Historia. Cuenta con cientos y cientos de hojas de arte y datos importantes de todos los personajes items y escenarios de smash, es lo que debiera ser un manual del juego. Yo lo compre por el hermoso arte y es que ver ilustraciones de Mario, Bowser, Bayonetta y Ryu en el mismo libro es definitivamente algo digno de coleccionar. Lo unico malo es que viene en ingles no se si venga para Mexico y llegue en español pero yo les recomiendo que si lo van a comprar lo hagan de una vez por que conforme pase el tiempo al cabo de tal vez un año va a ser mas dificil encontrarlo. Un imperdible si son fans de hueso colorado de smash.

There is a lot of information on the individual fighters in this guide. This is nice to have, but while illustrated quite nicely, simply not enough for a guide. Both information on the spirits as well as a detailed guide for the adventure mode are missing.

This guide is extremely detailed. As a player who enjoys playing the game competitively I love every ounce of detail the guide gives regarding every character's unique abilities. If you are brand new to the series or want to learn more about a character and their moves, this guide is perfect. It is also a collectible item for fans of the game.

What a wonderful send-off guide for Prima. It's clear how much love and care went into crafting this strategy guide, covering all aspects of every character and mode. The writers are very knowledgeable of the competitive aspect of Smash and explain in great detail how to pull off pro mechanics and maneuvers. Just a reminder that this guide is mainly centered around the fighters; while it does include explanations for all the modes and optimal routes and spirit teams through World of Light, you might want to check out a Wiki guide like IGN for boss strategies and Classic Mode character unlocks.
