CO Detector Carbon Monoxide Alarm-Ourjob, Electrochemical Sensor CO Alarm, Lithium Rechargeable Battery CO Gas Tester, USB Plug in CO Monitor with OLED Digital Display for Home/Garage/Caravan (White)

I got this for a workshop as I'm installing a generator and although fumes shouldn't make their way inside, it's best to be safe, right?The detector is small, neat, and has a little OLED display that shows a ppm count when you tap the button on the front.Power is from an internal battery (power switch on the back) or USB power overrides the power switch.I ran it on USB, as there's solar and batteries in the workshop, and had it set up for a couple of weeks to see how it went. This morning the alarm was going off, with a reading of 54ppm. There hasn't been any combustion or chemicals in the workshop since it was installed. I took the alarm home, set it out in the garden, did a couple of sensor heating cycles on it (this is how the sensor resets itself) and it still read 53 to 57ppm outdoors in the hills of yorkshire, so it's been returned.Can't say how good it is at detecting actual monoxide, but other than not working it seems like a good device.

Instructions were non descript, although there's only 1 button I can't say it was overly successful given I placed it next to an open gas bottle and I'd didn't souch as flash. Plus it's has to be constantly plugged into the mains. Maybe my fault but I read rechargeable battery as maybe potentially portable. Makes sense they send such a long cable. Absolutely awful

A good looking piece of kit that is well designed and works well. The battery seems to be living up to the suggested times and it’s very easy to operate. The only negative is that it’s a bit plasticky and could of had a more premium/solid feel to it. That said, still very good value for money.

Great carbon monoxide detector.Just remember to take the back off and remove the little paper/plastic covering the built in battery, then charge it up and that's about it.Does exactly as it's supposed to.

You need to take the back off (see other reviews...) - we did not know this before going back to the reviews and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working!! Great product thereafter!

Impressive little unit. I bought this for my campervan and have been very impressed with its build quality and operation. Much better looking than standard co detectors

This took a little while to set up but we've been using it now for 6 weeks with no problems
