Saved the day at my House!!
My air conditioner has quit and after some analysis, seems the relay had shorted and it just caused all kinds of havoc. This relay was an exact replacement for the one that was in there for probably 20 years. I hope this one last at least half as long. Great purchase and highly recommended.

It works at least as well as the original.
I bought this contactor to replace the original on my 5-year-old condenser unit. Since I had replaced the blown capacitor in August, I decided to go ahead and replace the contactor, too, which I did in September. The original contactor was working just fine; I kept it as a back-up: it's good to have something in reserve for the inevitable hot, miserable, summer day when the new one will be old and will fail -- the alternative is to wait days (or longer) with no air conditioning. This contactor is much larger and heavier than the original; it seems to be well built. Now, 6 or 7 weeks after installation, it seems to still be working properly. My A/C works like new.Do-It-Yourselfers: Don't forget to turn off the electricity at the main panel AND at the condenser unit before doing anything else; and, as an important precaution, discharge the capacitor before you attempt to replace your old contactor. And remember to do regular routine cleaning and maintenance on your A/C. It will save you hundreds of dollars -- maybe more.

It's a contactor, it has one job in life
The original one in my HVAC was starting to fail and this was the best one I could get in time. It works, I wish you could manually trip it like the factory one. I'm annoyed that there are no lug nuts like the factory one, I ended up hacking it together with Shepard hooks since I didn't have a crimping kit on hand.

Works great, replaces most contactors.
95 degrees,100% humidity, Aug in Indiana. Click, whine and on comes the fan and compressor. 74 degrees, and 65% humidity in the house for less cost than a couple quarter pounder meals.Fast shipping. That's important when the wife is complaining about no AC.This is just a motor contactor, i.e. a switch that is activated with a 24 volt coil instead of your finger. Minimum requirement is it handles the amp load from the compressor and the motor. This is why a double contactor works in place of a single contactor for those on the fence about changing the contactor themselves.

Excellent upgrade!
My old connector began making a loud buzzing noise due to debris in the coil and contacts. This new replacement has both a sealed coil and contactors, so I don't think debris will ever be an issue. It was easy to install and operates smoothly and quietly.I recommend this part to anyone needing to replace their contactor!

Fit just like my old one
Appreciate that it has a cover over the plunger as another way to protect the unit and not risk a problem by dropping something on top of the plunger and starting the unit or shorting it out .

Label say's 25A, Vendor says it's improve to 30A
I install it with no problem, the amp rating 25A doesn't bother me because the vendor say's it will work on 30A unit.I have installed for months now, no problem at all.
