This thing is quiet and works like it should. I wish I would have bought this a year ago. Completely erased the water hammer with the discharge of the pump. Well worth the money.

I replaced my ~25 year old Zoeller check valve on my basement sewage ejector with a new one of the same type (non-quiet) when it started making a terrible thump after the pump turned off and it reverberated thru the house. Inspecting it, it looked like the rubber seal on the flapper was all dried out. But the new one had the same issue. I first removed it and replaced it temporarily with a straight pipe, just to rule out anything else that could have been the source of the noise. Sure enough, not a peep from the ejector and shutoff. I found "The Quiet Check Valve", and it makes zero noise when the pump shuts off. It is amazing that it is as quiet as not even having the check valve there to begin with!

We had a check valve in our downstairs bathroom when we moved in 2 years ago. Every time we ran water or flushed, it would make a sound likened to a sonic boom. We could not get the builder to replace the existing valve, saying it was just that way. So we went searching for a replacement soft close valve. As soon as we installed the Zoeller Quiet Close valve...no more boom! It is whisper quiet & so easy to install. A simple & inexpensive fix.

Replaced a standard non assisted unicheck with this one. The spring assisted flapper makes a world of difference in eliminating the water hammer effect that comes with the cheaper valves. Expensive but worth every penny. Hose and clamp connections make installing it super easy. Don’t waste your money on the cheap ones that leave you with the “thunk” when closing and will eventually fail you. Get this one, you won’t regret it.

Easy install, had to remove some pipe due to previous check valve being shorter. Old one made a horrible slamming noise most of the time, would shake throughout the whole house. This is one is super quiet and no vibration when closing.

Where has this been all my life? The quiet check valve eliminates the harsh water hammer cacophony after each pump out. I only wish I’d known about this years ago. Do not hesitate to purchase this if you suffer from house quaking racket that sets your teeth on edge and wakens you in the night.

I cannot say it enough... this product is amazingly quiet! I've had a loud, gut-wrenching CLUNK every time the sump pump finished cycling. I've been in the house for 10 years and every time I heard the clunk I grimaced, expecting to find the pipe had broken because of the loud thud. I saw this on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give it a try.AM I GLAD I DID! When the sump pump cycles now I keep expecting the loud THUD but there's nothing but pleasant, joyous silence! And it was so easy to install that I kept kicking myself for putting up with that thud for so long! I should have done this 10 years ago!!!I love this product! If I could, I'd give it 10 stars!

Easy install and no more Thump when the valve closes

Utilisé à la sortie de la pompe de toilette, évier et douche. Fonctionne très bien et aucun bruit, aucun cognement de tuyau (coup de bélier disparu avec ce clapet silencieux)
