Hearos Xtreme Protection, 14-Pair Foam

Nice product from Hearos, especially useful for those who needs to have a calm environment like to read with full concentration. but it cant be used continuously for more than two hours, so have a break by removing it for every 2 hrs. Very comfortable for your ears and can be used and a single pair can used for even more than 1 month if used properly b keeping it in a closed small box. But if exposed to air then they cant last for a longer time. I brought it before 4 months and still i have just used my second pair. but i use it occasionally.

After trying out many sponge type ear plugs I came across Hearos and am extremely satisfied. The earplugs are easy to insert and remain comfortable in the ear. They can be worn for extended periods of time, I use them for sleeping and they cut out pretty much all noise. They can be reused for quite a few times. I would recommend these for sure.

I used Hearos Xtreme protection with flat ends from ebay earlier and they sat in the ears smoothly.Used them for riding and whenever there was possibility of loud noise exposure.These ear plugs didnt do no good for my hearing protection as when rolled they get awful and do not fit in the ear. Put a return request which the seller refused.

Works quite well. Most of the irksome noises are filtered out (though voices seem to be not filtered out that much). Deducting 1 star because using it for long periods of time gave me a bit of nausea.

They fit perfectly, deep into ear canal. And provide significant noise isolation.

It pop out in the night within an hour. You have to adjust it everytime. And noise cancellation is not good. It can cancel a low noise only.

i live in Pune and i have like 13 min walk from home to take the company bus to work and another 40 min bus ride. I get extremely annoyed with loud horns especially from 2 wheelers who drive absolutely crazy in this city. So while crossing the road or if a crazy 2 wheeler wants to pass the bus invariably from the wrong side loudly honking i had to put both my index fingers to my ears to block that noise. Often only after i hear the sound that i can react. Anyways now i walk with these plugs and they feel absolutely great!!. I dont cringe at the thought as i walk that a deafening noise is just about to come. I am new user so i am not sure how durable these are but they worked very well the first time!!.

Excellent product. I am a very light sleeper and when I travel and share the room with my mom it's only sleepless nights because she snores so loudly. These earplugs reduce the noise to very faint sounds and I can sleep peacefully. They are a life saver on holidays.

Really great plugs, you can feel the quality. I can't actually wear them , as they ar too thick/wide for my ear canals and am awaiting ear canal surgery to widen things up. I'll update once I'm healed from surgery and can insert them. Looking forward to it immensely.

One of us has a snoring problem. One of us has a sleeping problem. Not a good mix! Without pointing any fingers -- these Hearos are our heroes! One of us has tried a lot of earplugs (the other has tried and is trying a number of snoring reduction methods). We had come to the conclusion that earplugs just don't work against snoring. It seems to happen at a level that just can't be blocked. After trying many foam plugs, and then the expensive ribbed ear-canal plugs that can run $30 a set, we were ready to give up. We have even spent some time in separate bedrooms, but that seems like a relationship tragedy. However, reading the numerous review on Hearos, many customers had said they provided respite even from ardent snoring. Huzzah! Worth a shot. We were skeptical, because these plugs are -- well, cheap. To cut to the chase: these are the best anti-snoring sound-blocks one of us has ever tried. Probably it is because of the quality of the foam. If you squeeze them between thumb and forefinger before inserting in your ear canal, you can get them well inside. The back of the plug should rest against, and be held in place, by the nearby "wall" of your ear. If there is sound in the room when you insert the plugs, as they expand to a custom-fit of your hearing canals, you will experience the silence grow. That said, they are not a silver bullet. If the other person is facing you, loudly sawing, the vibrations will penetrate. At that point, we advise against beating them about the neck and face. An agreement ahead of time that you may wake them with gentle nudges, and at that point, they will roll away, and certainly off their back (often the worst position for excessive snoring), onto their far side away from you -- that will go a long way. Often just the change of position will quiet the breathing. There are also devices. The watch-like thing that gives the snorer a little electric tingle when it picks up the vibrations, is worth a long-term try. So are many supplements (pills). One of the best is stinging nettle root, and slippery elm, if part of the breathing issue is allergies. The chin strap and nose plugs are not great options, in one of our opinions. By the way, some reviewers have said they use the plugs for a couple of days and then throw them away. Yes, they are cheap, but so is one of us. We prefer to take the gently used plugs and wash them in warm water and mild soap (a drop or two of dish detergent). Let them stand on a towel to dry. You can then use them again for a few days. All in all, as snoring blocks, these work well. We've also both used them when target shooting, and while cutting boards with a screaming skill saw. Recommended!

Tappi molto morbidi e comodi. Se inseriti correttamente garantiscono un buon isolamento, lasciando percepire in modo ovattato solo rumori molto vicini (come la sveglia o qualcuno che ci parla da brevissima distanza); eliminano completamente i rumori di fondo: brusio del traffico; schiamazzi del quartiere; rumori e voci provenienti dalle altre camere o dal palazzo stesso. Vale la pena prendersi un paio di giorni per farci l'abitudine e impratichirsi con l'inserimento, cosa fondamentale, in quanto molte persone che lamentano il mancato isolamento lo fanno a causa di un utilizzo erroneo dei tappi e un inserimento parziale di questi nel condotto uditivo.
