Works great with Amazon Firestick
For some reason, mirroring or plugging in the iPhone X does not work well. It spins on the iPhone and it does not like the projector. It won't matter as I plan on using the Firestick. Great sound for a small projector and quiet. Much better than the Qumi 3 that is noisy and bulky. This projector is the size of an iPhone X and weighs a little more.Plan on testing this a little more on a weekend. Plugging it in to a speaker, etc.

Does not play videos from iTunes library
This is a VERY cool product. Not only is it a (normally sized) power bank, but a projector as well.I saw an Ivation Pro3 on display at an airport, and thought the idea of a mini projector was amazing (I am constantly on the road), so I bought it. But after fiddling with it for a couple hours and extensive online troubleshooting, it simply wasn’t compatible with iOS despite the claims on the box. So I returned it to the airport store before my layover was up.This OTHA model, on the other hand, is designed for the iPhone and immediately did screen mirroring just by plugging it in with your normal lightning cable. It is much more user friendly. I also liked that it uses a standard mini USB to charge like a lot of my other gadgets I bring on the road (Bluetooth speakers, ear buds, power bank...) You can buy dual mini-USB/lightning cords on amazon, and it’s nice to have all the same cables and not deal with proprietary plugs or bulky adapters. It’s an incredibly smart device, you can flip it upside down and the image corrects itself without having to fiddle with the settings. The auto keystone correction is impressive as well. The focus is very sensitive, it’s hard to get just right before it gets blurry again, especially when projecting close-up. And while it’s easier to focus when projecting farther away, it doesn’t do well in lighted rooms unless you’re very close up. It could be brighter. The speakers are impressively loud, good enough for casual use. If you need higher quality in a large room/big audience, there is a headphone jack to connect to better speakers via aux chord (or to use headphones as your lightning jack is occupied by the projector). I was also able to connect my phone to better speakers via Bluetooth while simultaneously Screen Mirroring on the projector (so while the OTHA projector doesn’t have Bluetooth functionality like the Ivation, it really doesn’t need it.)There are an impressive number of source input options (HDMI, SD card, plugging in your lightning cable, Apple AirPlay if on a home network).Unlike the Ivation, there is no web browser. I don’t think this is a big deal, as it keeps it smaller, simpler, and more user friendly. But that also means I was unable to use the hotel WiFi (many hotels now require you to fill out your room number and name, or agree to Terms of Use, before connecting you online.) I was still able to do an Over The Air firmware update by using a Personal Hotspot on the phone, but have been unable to try out the AirPlay so far.The image can be flipped for use with a rear projection screen. One of the main reasons I bought it was for an upcoming movie night on the beach with a rear projection screen, so we’ll see if it is bright enough for the job (might have to make sure it’s a new moon).Comes with a remote, but you can navigate all of the menus using just the four buttons on the side, though it takes a lot more button pushes (I didn’t have any AA batteries, and don’t plan on traveling with the remote.)It worked fine with the YouTube app, Screen Mirroring, iTunes music videos, and photos and videos on my camera roll. BUT......I gave it only two stars because it will not play movies purchased/rented on iTunes (the “TV” app). This is presumably THE main reason most people are buying the projector in the first place! I have an iPhone X, and got the same error message when trying to play my downloaded movies/tv shows both before AND after the most recent iPhone iOS update.I’m not returning it yet, as I’m hoping they will push a firmware update to fix the problem soon. I was completely unable to find their website or customer support (google search for OTHA only comes up with purchase options), but hopefully they will reply to this review. Two stars until it can do what I bought it to do, but I will update my review and rating if the issue can be fixed. This thing definitely has potential. It’s the perfect size (same size as the iPhone but twice as thick).

Watch movies on your wall or on your ceiling
Pros:- Easy to use. Functional and budget-friendly home theater. Great for watching movies, etc. No regrets for now.- Comes with black HDMI cable, adapter, power cable, user manual, a short tripod and a remote control.- Remote control is useful and necessary but you have to be somewhat closer to projector to be able to use it.- You could use the buttons on projector if you don’t want to use the remote control.- Image on the screen is very good, I could watch an HD movie via Micro-SD, in 95” on a white wall. You can rewind, forward, skip to next movie or choose a specific place within a movie by using a marker, so you can continue to watch where you left off.- You could even experience a 120” screen if placed within a larger area.- Automatic screen adjustment. Both for walls and ceiling watching.- Various settings, wall color change, brightness change, angle/size adjust, language, etc.- Used this projector with laptop via HDMI cable, iPhone X + iPad mini 2 via wireless, iPhone X + iPad Mini via original Apple cable* and Micro-SD card. All worked. (*Cable needs to be Apple’s original cable, couldn’t managed to make it work otherwise.)- Sound is awesome. You don’t expect that cleanliness.- Both sound and screen brightness are sufficient for a home theater.- I connected a 1+1 speaker and it’s working wonderfully. I didn’t try to connect Bluetooth speakers but some say here that they work as well.- Usable with headphone.- Support is helpful. Their email address is in user manual.Cons:- My first order had a faulty, loose power button. It keeps getting on by itself. I had to wait for 45 seconds to turn it on and off. I couldn’t charge it on power off mode, it had to be remained on. They replaced it with another one. Second one is working properly.- I got “battery low” notification after 55 min so I began to watch with a plugged-in power cable.- I experienced data loss on wireless connection (screen freeze time to time) so I switched to cable connection. Cable works properly.- Power cable is usable but short if you want to watch it while plugged in. Plug needs to be nearby.- Remote control has no lights.- Not displaying Turkish letters in subtitles properly. No problem with English subtitles.- Light is good in general but if you're watching a VERY VERY dark scene without a proper lighting, it could become harder to see every detail.Extra:- You need a converter if you are not using American plug-sockets. They are cheap so it won’t be a problem.- You cannot view Netflix and other online TV services via mobile apps but it’s not projector’s fault. Those apps don’t let external devices display their content. It’s intentional. However, I could project Netflix by connecting my laptop via projector’s HDMI cable.

Small and very usable
Not s bad small projector. If you plan on streaming movies to it you will need an HDMI cable and adapter. HDMI is Protected to stop piracy. Other than that (which is just a small inconvenience) the connections work well. I’m glad I bought it, curious about battery life but so far so good

I am really excited. Wonderful projector
This projector has a metal finish. It feels solid when you touch it. After I open it, I find the operations very intuitive and the noise so small. The best part is that it can hook up to iPhone with just the lightning cable. Really took their time to design the interface. I feel this is the best mini projector I have ever seen. I am really happy that I chose this one.The only thing that I see could be improved is the battery life. Maybe I just didn't charge enough, but the screen turned off after a while. I connected a wall charger to the power input and then I am able to play again. I will try charging again and update how long the battery will last. After all, I am so excited to try it. Maybe I haven't waited long enough.
