Great flush cutters at a great price.
High quality flush cutter at a great price. The grip is very comfortable. The flush cutters are sharp and I’ve no problems cutting multiple wires at a time. The tip is small enough to fit in tight spaces.

Powerful clean, precise cutting of Cat 5/6 data cable
As a computer cable installer, I needed some small wire snips that would cut up to 4 small gauge Cat 6 wires cleanly and quickly. My old snips finally gave out and was hesitant about these, but decided to give them a try. I was surprised at how cleanly they cut without any splitting of the wire Exactly what I was looking for. I was also able to cleanly cut through Cat 6 cable and despite the large size of the cut, it also cut cleanly. Very pleased with the purchase and now I have an extra pair for when I lose the first one! Also, the tiny nose allows you to cut wires in tight spaces.

UPDATED from "not quite strong as it seems that it should be; good for light wire and plastics"
UPDATE - A rep offered to send a replacement after noticing my unfortunate report on my purchase. The rep from the distributor somehow got my phone number and proceeded to hound me relentlessly in texts to update this review. I THOUGHT I already DID just that yesterday, but got yet another xt this morning. Sheeesh...So when checking back to see if the review had updated - well, it hadn't shown up here. So this is the 2nd attempt to update this review. So they have sent me another one. In the meantime I bought something else to do the job I bought the pliers for in the 1st place, and so have not put the replacement IGAN to any paces yet - and I don't know when I will.Star rating doubled from prior 2-star 'lemon' experience. If I get anymore com from this (or any) rep I'll pull it back down another star; enough is enough. Tough titties if it impacts your sales; the 1st one I bought broke and it slammed the brakes on my job. Life's just not fair sometimes, innit./UPDATEORIGINAL REVIEW:Mine broke after two weeks of at best "light duty"; soldering together patch-cables for a guitar pedalboard. While this is a fine and accurate tool for snipping small-gauge wire and plastics, it didn't handle the stress of repeated clipping (of even a moderately hard alloy over 1mm thick; mine broke while attempting to trim an input jack's solder terminal) without imposing stress on the blade joint.

So precise!
These are lovely little flush cutters.A couple of years ago, I got back into slot cars as a pandemic hobby, and needed to buy some proper electronics tools. These are *really* sharp, really nice, and are a massive value for money. That said, you have to respect their limits. The cutting edges are very thin, and extremely hard.If you try to cut anything harder than copper you will absolutely ruin them.I had my first pair for more than 2 years, but thoughtlessly grabbed them to cut some stainless steel safety wire and chipped both of the cutting edges instantly.I like them so much I bought a 2-pack to replace them.

Cuts plastic forks well. Useful for DIY
I had no trouble cutting wire and plastic forks. It also had no trouble with wooden ice cream handles.

Wire Cutter Review
I purchased these thinking they might work for cutting wire dies apart. These are not strong enough to do the job. They are thin enough to get into a small spot, but just dents the cutting blades on this type of metal. Can't give it an overall rating as bad, they are not heavy enough or harden blades to cut this material. Will keep and use them for another type of wire. Really like the spring release lever action they have and do fit well in the hand

Bent easily on a simple task 😕
The pliers work well for cutting extremely thin wires, but unfortunately, they don’t live up to the advertised durability. When I tried to cut a 4 mm jewelry wire, the metal of the pliers bent easily, making them unreliable for tasks that need a bit more strength. I was really disappointed, especially after the high expectations set by the product description. I’ll be requesting a return or a refund.
