Is this 8 oz. vanilla in a glass jar?

Yes, the 8 oz. bottle has always been glass. I ordered the 32 oz. bottle of Madagascar Bourbon Extract & it came in a plastic bottle, I think the flavor is not as good quality in plastic!

How does it compare in terms of test/flavour to the Madagascar Vanilla extract?

I have tried many different Vanilla extract, and a few Madagascar Vanilla, and this one is far the best of them all.. Rich, heavy strong Vanilla flavor.. what you expect from Madagascars Vanilla... Im kind of new in my baking, so im VERY picky in my flavors...
