Would these cards be good for old phones to get rid of the "no sim card" notification?

Boy, that's a loaded question. The answer is maybe. As they are shipped, they would be worthless for that application. If however you programmed them with a SIM card writer, they would work great. There are plenty of 99 cent sim cards available (from various carriers) on Amazon and elsewhere, so i don't know why you would bother with these.

Not quite sure what you mean by "fake", but i guess so, since these are real SIM cards that are blank. They can be written with whatever information you want. If you are interested in duplicating an existing SIM card, you will need one of these to get the job done.
