This review is for the Laser cutting folks.. The quality of the MDF is surprisingly quite good, No warps everything seemed nice and true to thickness on the digital caliper test. (2.2-2.3mm) It cuts very well ( 20W Phecda at 320mm 35% P 3 Pass) After continuous uses I will tweak these settings a bit I am sure. Very Sturdy and nice surface to. So yeah I am happy with it, I think it will come in handy for Some of my projects that do not require a Thicker Material, Price was reasonable comes out to .60 per sheet. When I purchased the 30 pack. Now the Size of the sheets is not idea and they only have one size to choose from when it comes to the 2mm Thickness MDF. Just about 1/8" short length and Width like mentioned in another review. Keep your projects within the 5 7/8" x 7 7/8" and you will be ok. SO in the end Easy to use, and has more than just laser cutting purposes. Definitely a multi functional material.

The board is made with high-quality materials, making it reliable and durable. It ships quickly and arrives in great condition, so you don't have to wait long to get started with your project. Unfortunately, despite its solid construction, the board may not be suitable for all projects. I learned this when 1 tried to cut it with an 8-watt Diode laser engraver, which was unable to cut through the board. While it's a great choice for other applications, it may not be suitable for precise cutting. Overall, the 2mm Medium Density Fiberboard is a solid choice for crafting and creating, but it has some limitations that should be taken into consideration prior to purchase. We purchased one and, while it didn't meet our exact needs, we can still appreciate the high-quality construction.

It works for what I need. Nice and sturdy but it is not 6x8. It's 1/8th of an inch short on both sides.

This is my second or 3rd purchase of these for my classroom. They are such a good value, I don't feel resentful about buying these out of pocket, and seeing them wasted by students. You can gesso them, and have little panels for oil painting studies at a better price than canvas paper! For tempera or acrylic, you don't even have to gesso first. While they are thin, they are mdf, not chip board, and can handle layers of paint without warping. Pro tip: if you find them bending when gessoing, gesso both sides to even it out. The thicker 12 pack is the same price, but better for "final" drafts, where these are perfect for studies, or to have around for free painting time!

I’m m thrilled with these sheets! They work great for both acrylic and oil. I just apply two coats of white acrylic primer, and painting becomes pure joy! 🎨

Well, what can you say? These are good quality, exactly cut small pieces of mdf. All are in good condition, ready for use and I will certainly put them to use. Quick delivery and all of them perfectly sized. Will likely purchase more in the near future.

I am revising my original review where I said that this was unusable on a lasercutter. It is usable, however, because it is HDF and NOT MDF, it will require more power to cut than a 1/4 inch MDF and will char quite a bit. It is a fairly consistent 1.9mm thick all over. I plan to use it mainly for small jigs to set up wood coins, dice, etc. I was able to make a Dollhouse bunk bed for my daughter and it came out pretty well after sanding off the charred edges and painting it.

Great size and sturdy exactly what I wanted to use as a photography background for my jewellery.
