I was waking up every night sweating, even with very thin blankets and the fan/ac going. I did a little research and realized my mattress is probably trapping heat. I bought this and WOW! I have not woken up burning up one time this whole week! I even occasionally use a weighted blanket which is heavier and still, I was not burning to death. If you sleep warm or you wake up sweating, definitely worth the money. This is a thin layer you put over your mattress. My mattress is comfortable so I was not looking for padding.

Awesome mattress cover that is so soft you will not want to put anything over it, just sleep right next to the cover. The thread they use is even softer than any Egyptian cotton sheets I've ever had for a lot more money. I will be buying a second cover so I can just use these in lieu of a fitted sheet since they are machine washable. You won't regret this purchase, guaranteed!!
