Like these string a lot even though after a while ...
Like these string a lot even though after a while of heavy use the coating tends to wear off. But that's okay just buy more they sound good and look nice on my custom made guitars.

Great! A bit messy tho.
Sweet strings! I put these on my Jem & it looks fantastic! The sound quality considering these are coated is just fine. Didn't notice any difference although at very first a little on the finger tips, but after a few hours playing I didn't notice it anymore. So far I have put some serious hours into these & the color on the frets has held up just fine! The pain is wearing down a bit where I pick but that has to be expected since I am constantly smacking at the paint. I noticed a few reviewers state that the dust from the paint settled into the pickups, I was able to blow all of that out with computer duster no problem. If you are going for a certain look, I would recommend these for sure.

Color Comes off
Area where strings are picked, the red color comes off even with plastic/nylon picks.

Sweet strings
I bought these for my wife's guitar, she usually uses light strings, but they break to easily. I thought that having coated thicker strings would work better for her and they did. They sound great and she loves the color, they match her guitar

My only gripe about these strings is that they came in the wrong packets.... like the strings weren't in the packs that they said they were. Not a HUGE deal but just rather annoying. These strings feel... softer? Like playing on felt....? I only see a few places on them where the colour is duller than the rest. Not a huge deal... no one's going to notice it except the person playing the guitar.

I’ve been playing for 30 years; and I don’t yet know what to make of these strings… one issue is that like others, I’ve found the d string to be pink, which just looks odd. Tonally, they might be a little less lively - I’m wondering if the coating kills overtones etc, so you just get the fundamental note, and not an extra, positive, tonal colouration. I need more time with them, but something feels off.
