Eilean Donan Castle - Scotland

I am an avid puzzler. This puzzle met expectations. The pieces are sturdy and interlock well. Good value for the money. It challenges but very satisfying when completed. I recommend.

Beautiful image and a challenging puzzle for an advanced master, especially the cloud filled sky! Requires lots of patience and an eye for matching up pieces more based on shapes than color.

This in a 3rd EuroGraphics puzzle as we are sheltered during Covad-19. The quality of their puzzles is top-notch (pun intended). All pieces are similarly shaped with just minor, sometimes not-so-notable differences. The pieces fit precisely such that if a piece is just slightly off when you place it, you will need to go back at some point and correct it. It's not hard to make a mistake, but easy to correct once you realize that other pieces in the area are not coming together. This particular scene was too challenging, or I should say boring - mostly the sky did not have much variations so after awhile it was just a mechanical, monotonous trying of every sky piece until one of them clicked in and then doing this over and over and over... So not so much a challenge as an exercise in frustration. But I will continue to order EuroGraphics puzzles since I am impressed with the quality.

This was my first Eurographics puzzle . It was well made and wasn't missing any pieces. I will buy this brand again.

I got this for Christmas, and I’m just getting around to putting it together now. I’ve always liked Eurographics puzzles for their quality. But this one is a disappointment. In the other Eurographics puzzles I’ve completed (and there have been many in the last 4 years), the pieces fit together tightly, and there was almost a satisfying “snap” when you placed the piece in the right spot. Not so with this puzzle - the pieces fit loosely together and I’ve had to “repair” my completed border numerous times as I’ve started working in the middle. I’ve had finished puzzles where I could literally pick the puzzle up and it stayed together. I already know that I won’t be able to do that with this one and I’ve barely gotten started. I hope that this isn’t the new normal for Eurographic puzzles. I’ll be looking for a new brand to buy if it is.

Sturdy pieces and a very challenging. A good buy.
