Bulk Stevia Extract Powder, 25 g, Packaging May Vary

I have been buying these for a while now (have used about 15 bags). At first, I started looking for a sugar alternative (after doing some research on sugar and realising that sugar effects my mental and physical health (in a negative way). I have tried different alternatives but this one works best for us and I trust it due most to give to my preschooler as it is pure, with no additives. When you first start using this, it does take a while to learn how much to put in which foods/drinks. I put this in my little girl's lemon juice every morning and she likes it. A little goes a long way. If you were to put too much you would feel a slightly bitter taste. It does take a little bit of mixing in but it is a small complaint for what it provides- a reassurance for me that I am avoiding sugar as much as I can.

This is real 100% stevia with no other ingredients mixed in (erythritol, maltodextrin etc). I’ve been using pure stevia for a long time so this is a bit different from what I was expecting: it’s a powder like icing sugar, not micro crystals like caster sugar or granulated sweeteners (like splenda) for example. I admittedly found it a bit difficult to use especially for sprinkling over food as it’s quite difficult to control the amount and how it’s being distributed. This is very very concentrated stuff so you really only need the tiniest amount (do not use a full scoop in your tea!!) Plus you end up inhaling the fine powder dust while tapping the scoop which is unpleasant. The taste is exactly as I expect stevia to taste though. I personally really enjoy the taste of stevia, it’s sweet and a little goes a long way. It only tastes bitter if you use too much. It’s a decent price and I can’t fault it on flavour. It's definitely got its uses (like adding it to pancake batter) but I wouldn't repurchase it for sprinkling over food unless they change it to a granulated form. I’d also comment that the grip seal bag that the stevia is supplied in is troublesome with the powdered sugar format as the fine particles fly out everywhere; into your nose, throat and surfaces so everything smells and tastes too sweet... a little tub would be so much more practical.

Pure stevia concentrate powder typical a little aftertaste but not bad for its price. You get a small 0.5 ml spoon for dosing. Be careful because 25 grams is really concerned and provided spoon is too large so have it in mind when you want to add it to your tea or coffee and add just really small amount and try it. Unfortunately spoon is inside the powder so you will have to find how to take it out without making mess if they put it outside it will be much easier for customers except that nice products which I can recommend

The stevia that you by in supermarkets costs a lot less, but it is not pure: it is mixed with other substances to make it more like sugar - ie, a teaspoonful of the supermarket variety is usually roughly equivalent to a teaspoonful of ordinary sugar. However this pure stevia powder is VERY STRONG because it's pure stevia. You only need to use a tiny amount, and it tastes more like ordinary sugar than the store-bought stuff - it doesn't leave a funny taste in your mouth. So, although it is quite expensive, a little goes a very long way. And it is not bulked out with outer mysterious ingredients.

25g doesn't sound a lot, but this is pure Stevia, not diluted by anything. It's bitter if you have too much, so you literally only need a pinch in your coffee. This will last you a while.
