For CCTV troubleshooting this is perfect.
Need to test whether its the camera or the cable...done.Need to test whether the Ethernet cable is straight, twisted, or broke...done.Don't have a camera but need to test line integrity (Built in color bar generator)...done.Need to test PTZ control (And have an Rs-485 or RS-232 compatible camera)...done.This guy is mounted to my hip most anytime I go out in the field anymore...the only thing I can't do with it is test PTZ control on RS-422 Analog cameras...it's become indispensable.

Awesome tool especially nice to have the ability to power the camera prior to having the power supply up and running. You can get all cameras installed and focused in one fail swoop. You can finish up the power supply last if you so desire

I would pass
It's better then notthing. When adjusting picture seens to be a little out of syn with DVR. Picture looks good on tester but al ittle out of foucs. Nice screen of what it shows, but more then once I notice it out of syn. So at the end of the day the tester didn't work for me. ""It could be my dvr I guest"" maybeBut my other tester work fine with the same dvrsI might could live with the first problem, But form the time I got the product to current, I have try to get a spare battery for my unit No one has gotten back with me.. SO Prouduct 3 stars, customer support no good either 0 stars.

Good Unit, Bad Case
The unit itself is great and reasonably priced. The problem I am having with it comes down to the case. The case is cheaply made and came apart. The loops that hold the carrying strap both fell apart, so no more strap. I would hope that the seller could redesign and find a better company to sew the cases.

The monitor
The monitor is bright enough to use outdoors, and the ability to power up the camera from the tester is super handy when a headend isn't trimmed out yet. It will also control PTZ functions of cameras so equipped. The buttons have a durable feel, and the unit comes encased in a dense rubber jacket for the inevitable fall from a ladder. The rechargeable battery is nice, and all of the other little extras included are pretty impressive.

Works great! Very satisfied
Exactly what I was hoping for. It was brand new out of the box. Need for work for troubleshooting cameras. Works great! Very satisfied. (Great price!) Came in less than two weeks. Will order from this vendor again.

Works perfectly!
It worked perfectly when I hooked it up to the already installed cameras allowing me to adjust without an up and down session to see what the camera was set on at the monitor.
