[Non-Universal] Fromann Lift Chair Part Metal Connector only Suit for DeltaDrive Motor on End of Left Hand Threads Stroke Tube

I purchased this to repair my mothers lift chair simply because it had next day shipping. I also ordered a plastic one, which is what the chair has from the manufacturer. The plastic one took a week to ship, this one acted as a stop-gap. I recommend getting the plastic one because this metal arm is much more likely to cause significant damage. These are designed to fail when mechanism is in a bind, this protects the more complicated and expensive parts becoming damaged. I was simply in a unique situation and needed a quick fix, although it is nice to have this metal one on hand until I have the chance to order replacement plastic arms in the future.Be prepared for a struggle to remove the factory arm if it breaks at the threaded portion, extremely tight and hard to get any tools capable of gripping the plastic. Like I stated earlier, the metal one is nice to have on hand until you can get the plastic one. My mother has had her chair for 10 years and I've only had to replace this arm once, but we check the chair daily to see if it's in a bind.Also, this metal arm is very crudely cast, beware of sharp edges and burrs, I got a pretty good nick on my hand right out of the bag, recommend deburring it with a good file before handling too much bare handed.

Easy to install and fit like the original part. My 87 year old mother is happy to have her chair back in working order.

Did not fit. Apparently my piston tube has a right-hand (normal) thread, while this one is left (counter-clockiwise tighten). This looks exactly same as my broken metal part, but apparently will not work on FSB (aka HHC) lift chair motors. And nobody can tell me how to contact anybody who does sell this part. So the lack of a $10 part makes my $600 Ashley Furniture two-motor recliner useless.

I have a chair with the FBS MOTOR which has a right hand threaded connector. Since I could not find the right hand threaded part; I ordered this left hand threaded connector knowing that it was not going to work. Using a bench grinder; I ground off the threads and then JB WELDED the connector into the tube from the motor. Working great so far!!
