Does it repel spiders?

Our product isn't designed to repel spiders -- we call it "Nantucket Spider" because Spiders are so effective at repelling other insects!

Does this product expire? All my other sprays seem to have an expiration date on them but I don't see one on this bottle.

I have searched spray bottle and find no exp date. It does not come in a box, alone. Tho I try to use in order of purchase, I have had some for quite a period of time. The products are all natural oils for the most part. My go to product for insect repellant.

Does this product work if sprayed on an outside light

While we've heard of people happily spraying Nantucket Spider on things, our product is an effective bug repellent specifically designed to be sprayed on people. I would definitely not suggest spraying ANY liquid on a light fixture, as that sounds dangerous.

Do you have refill solution without trigger spray? I'm trying to cut down on plastics, even post consumer. Thank you

We are so very sympathetic to that! While formula for this repellent consists of essential oils, vegetable glycerin and water, some state regulators have asked us to write "do not re-use or refill this container" in order to sell in their states. This may be a new state requirement for all registered repellents - we don't yet know. In any event, it seems that if we have to inform consumers not to re-use the container - we would not be permitted to sell refills for those containers. But we love and want to preserve the resources of this beautiful planet. With that in mind, we moved to post consumer plastic and we also offer a 16 oz bottle which uses less plastic than two 8 oz bottles. We know this falls short of providing resource saving refills. We are still thinking about how to navigate a better solution and will let you know when we have something.
