Having received the first book as a gift, I dived right into it and read it straight through. Loved the story, the calligraphy, the messages, and the suggestion that it can be read in different ways. I loved it SO much I bought copies for family members as gifts several years ago. I still pick mine up, choosing random pages to read regularly for the uplifting messages the author has provided. It's a book I read over and over again. Loving its predecessor so much, I bought this one for myself. It is as uplifting as the first. The drawings are superb, the calligraphy makes me smile, and the messages on nearly page are so needed. It is a visual treat; it is a joy to read, and it is a book to savor and share. Thank you, Charlie Mackesy, for sharing your talent and words of wisdom with the world. Now, paraphrasing the Mole, "Be patient, be kind, and eat cake!"

This book is designed more as a keepsake than a traditional read. That said, I love it. I find it inspirational. As soon as I saw the author created a 2nd book, I purchased it immediatly, as I loved his first. I keep it by my bedside for when I need encouraging. The artwork is also stunning. It encourages reflection and connection, making it a thoughtful gift for families or loved ones. Pros: Meaningful and emotional Nicely presented Cons: Short (but is that really a con) Not a story-based book

Charlie Mackesy brings back our favorite loving friends the Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse in another beautifully written and illustrated book that is full of wisdom. As you turn each page, you realize how very special this book is, and how much it speaks to your heart. A book to be enjoyed by all age groups, I will reread it again and again, anytime I feel the need for a reminder that we are not alone, and love is all around us even when we feel most lost. Exceptional!!

It belongs with its mate on every nightstand or coffee table, and will end up in your heart.

This book is just so beautiful. The story is for all age groups. The message of being important, accepted and loved can touch everyone. The illstrations are gorgeous. This is such a treasure to own. I can't stop looking at the illustrations and read the story over and over.

There is some additional images, color. Beautiful words. Beautiful illustrations. If I could give more stars I absolutely would. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate this book!
