Needed something to use when putting contact lenses in when on long-distance backpacking thru-hikes. It's a good product - great intensity to the light and the mirrors are really good - one magnifies about 7x I think and the other is a normal mirror. It was bigger and heavier than I was expecting and on balance I thought it was too big and heavy to earn a place in my lightweight backpacking expeditions. I'll use the mirror on the compass instead and a headtorch (both of which I need to carry anyway).Otherwise, I'm sure it would be very useful for all sorts of situations. I think it would be ok for going into hand bags, but I'm a bloke and no expert on this. I DO, however, use it at home to help with putting my contact lenses in. I can sit down, open this up, switch the light on and really see what I'm doing.

Great item although it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The light is extremely bright and while this might be great if you're 20 odd, when you're in your 50s it's not a pretty sight especially on the magnified side. Going to give it as a gift to my sons girlfriend, I'm sure she'll love it. Only other downside is the light doesn't go off when you close it, you have to remember to switch it off.

Wow..... the problem of how to do your eye make up, shape eyebrows, check for new wrinkles (!) when not wearing your specs, is all solved by this great gizmo. I bought four- one for me, the remainder for my sisters.

This mirror is a wonderful buy.I have a free standing mirror in chrome with a back-light and I can honestly say this is a far more effective for it's purpose although it is a compact mirror in black plastic , it is extremely elegant and fits easily into any make-up bag .A definite must buy for anyone who has an early morning commute .

Excellent product, superb illumination and magnification. I have bought 2 as presents.I never find the lighting good enough in hotels so that was my main reason for purchase.

So far very pleased with the mirror, should be great for my holiday. The lights should be great in a dark hotel room.

This mirror was fantastic. As someone who is close up eyesight challenged, I found this ideal. In poorer light the illuminated mirror was excellent and the x7 mirror perfect.I would not be without this mirror for travel again!!!Very highly recommended
