Unmatched Durability and Performance – MOOG 354 U-joint for 2000 Chevy Silverado
I recently installed the MOOG 354 U-joint on my 2000 Chevy Silverado, and I'm extremely pleased with the decision to opt for the version with the factory grease fitting. This product stands out for its exceptional quality and has significantly enhanced the performance of my vehicle.Firstly, the installation process was straightforward. The MOOG 354 U-joint is designed with precision, ensuring a perfect fit for my 2000 Chevy Silverado. This ease of installation is a significant benefit, especially for those who prefer to handle vehicle maintenance themselves. The quality of the U-joint is evident from the get-go. It’s made of high-grade materials that ensure durability and reliability. This is crucial for a critical component like a U-joint, which is subject to significant stress and wear. Since the installation, I have noticed smoother drivetrain operation and an absence of the vibrations and noises that often accompany a worn U-joint.One of the key features that set this U-joint apart is the factory grease fitting. This addition is a game-changer as it allows for regular lubrication, which is essential for maintaining the joint's functionality and extending its lifespan. Regular greasing has kept the U-joint operating smoothly and will undoubtedly reduce the need for premature replacements. The performance post-installation has been exceptional. The MOOG 354 U-joint has provided a noticeable improvement in the handling and overall drivability of my Silverado. Whether it's highway driving or navigating rough terrain, the stability and responsiveness have been significantly enhanced. In terms of value for money, this U-joint is a worthwhile investment. The quality and performance it offers, especially given its durability and the added convenience of the grease fitting, make it a cost-effective solution in the long run.In conclusion, the MOOG 354 U-joint is an outstanding product that I highly recommend for anyone with a 2000 Chevy Silverado or a compatible vehicle. Its ease of installation, robust build, and excellent performance make it deserving of a 5-star rating. I'm definitely glad I chose the option with the factory grease fitting, and I'm confident in its long-term reliability.

I needed to change only 1 u-joint on my 2016 Tacoma but decided to change all, i bought 5 but only used 3, why you ask, my year Tacoma has 2 different size u-joint one size on the front and another on the back. But when all said and done my truck was back up and running as she should be.

Not precision manufactured!
I thought Moog was a quality part. Ordered these for my 97 F150 rwd 4.6, packaging and shipping were excellent. The parts looked 'good'. When I went to install, after removing the old Motorcraft (18 years old, 200k+ miles), I had an exceedingly difficult time pressing these in on both the drive-shaft, and the two yokes. I was able to get them in the drive-shaft with a very good fit for the c-rings. But, when pressed in on either the front or rear yokes, there just was not enuf space for the c-ring (one side). I took them on and off (pressing!), until finally I was satisfied, though not thrilled.Next morning on a test drive, one of the rings on the rear yoke came out. Luckily, I felt the vibration, and stopped. After arranging for a ride, I picked up an AutoZone u-joint, my drive-shaft, and took it back to my garage to install. It fit like a glove (difficult, but room for that c-ring). I checked the other Moog u-joint, and sure enuf, a c-ring was coming loose. Replaced it too, and have had not problems (with the supposedly lower quality AZ u-joints)!I measured the original Motorcraft Ujoint against the Moog Ujoint, Surprise, they are just a tad larger (measured with a Micrometer)! NO wonder I had so much difficulty. I also note the parts are stamped '352', I ordered 354! Tried to locate what a 352 was/is, no results.I have since researched, and realized Federal Mogul purchased Moog, and has began replacing Moog parts with their own, using the Moog brand name. While not a mechanic, I am a serious auto repair person, and I have done many Ujoint replacements over the years. I will not purchase a Moog part again, and will no longer provide quality referrals for Moog parts.
