Best Brand Of Pipe Products
I recently used the PIPE DÉCOR 1/2” x 12” Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Nipple for a custom industrial-style shelving project, and I was seriously impressed. The pipe feels sturdy, the threads line up perfectly, and it’s easy to assemble with other fittings—no frustration or cross-threading at all. On top of that, the black cast iron finish adds an awesome rustic touch, making it a great choice for any DIY or décor project where you want that authentic industrial vibe. I couldn’t be happier with how my project turned out!

Perfect for crafts and DIY
I've done some projects by using the pipe purchased from big box stores. Now that I've discovered the Amazon supply, I will never go back. This stiff is WAY cheaper than what you will get locally. Now, to be fair, the stuff in the stores is meant to be used as designed, for plumbing. Once you break way from that need, the cost to manufacture and produce these items goes WAY down, which equals a much lower price point for the end user. I started with one main project, but since have branched to several different DIY projects and this stuff works great. I used 1" pipe to make a handrail for the stairs, 1" pipe for my gym and hanging weights, 1/2" for shelves and miscellaneous pieces, and have some upcoming plans using 3/4". Its easy to work with and looks awesome when painted (I've been using flat black on most of my projects).

Life with MS
The PIPE DÉCOR 1/2” x 8” Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Nipple, Pre Cut Connectors, Industrial Steel Grey, was a great purchase regarding cost. Very cost-effective and perfect for DIY projects. I used these to create handrails for my wife, who has MS, and I was able to tailor the handrails to the exact height she needed. The only downside was that I had to wash all the black dust/oil off the pipes. I didn’t expect the cleaning aspect since I was not purchasing this from a typical hardware store like Home Depot. Despite this minor inconvenience, the pipes worked perfectly for my project, and the cost savings were well worth the extra effort.Additionally, using these pipes gave our bedroom a steampunk vibe, adding a unique and stylish touch to the space. Overall, these pipes are a great choice for anyone looking to build vintage DIY furniture or custom projects. Highly recommended for their affordability, functionality, and the aesthetic they bring.

Great price, sturdy, but a lil messy!
Exactly what I needed & great price! I ordered the parts separately I needed for my project, which was 3 book shelves. The nipples and flanges went together perfectly. Be prepared to have dirty hands or wear gloves. Totally not a deal breaker for me, but be prepared to be a little messy and make sure your cautious of where you place them or what they might rub up against just in case. I made 3 very nice, sturdy bookshelves on casters for around $500 after buying the 2x10’s, screws and casters. I bought the 2x10’s at the local Home Depot and they cut them in the store for easy traveling. If you think $500 seems high, believe me it’s a steal if you have dealt with a random flooding in your basement a time or two and had to replace cheap made, but “not cheap” bookshelves. My new book shelves are on wheels and I can move them around easily. Now I’m working on a “C” table And would love to see a “C” table kit bundle!!!
