What type of iron is this? I was told to use 325 mg Ferrous Sulfate twice a day.

My OB/GYN had me take this. I was put on ferrous sulfate 325mg as well. The side effects made me so sick. So when she said take this I did. It absorbs better and boost your red blood cells up faster within weeks. I suffered from anemia and needed a hysterectomy. I took this for a few months and my hemoglobin and hematocrit was a lot higher than expected so I didn't need a blood transfusion with surgery. In my opinion it doesn't make you have stomach issues such as constipation and upset stomach. The flavor isn't bad. If you decide to purchase it make sure you take it with Orange juice or something with vitamin C such as cranberry juice it absorbs better that way. I gave the remainder to my friend who had a baby and lost a lot of blood. She got better fast and blood work was great within weeks after having the baby. I hope that this helps

It tastes like grape. I take this on its own or drink water right after. It’s a quick shot! This is so much better than pills.
