The DJI Mic 3 is a masterclass in engineering. Moving from the Mic 2, I was worried the smaller size would mean less power, but it’s actually the opposite. The Form Factor: At only 16g, it doesn't sag on thin shirts. The new rotating clip is a genius touch—you can finally orient the mic properly regardless of how you’re clipping it. Audio Quality: The 32-bit float internal recording is a lifesaver for run-and-gun shoots where you can’t monitor levels. The new "Rich" and "Bright" voice presets actually sound usable and save time in post. Killer Feature: The 400m range and the ability to sync up to 4 transmitters to one receiver makes this a serious tool for multi-person interviews. The Catch: Be aware that DJI removed the 3.5mm jack on the transmitter. You can't plug in a lavalier mic anymore. For 90% of my work, the built-in mic is fine, but it’s something to consider if you rely on hidden wired lavs. Verdict: If you don’t use an external lavalier mic, the Mic 3 is a superior tool in every single way.

Great wee mic

Best microphone way better than Mic 2 only down point is that charging dock its not secure

This is stuck a lovely and lightweight microphone, but it has significant flaws. Firstly, the positives. It is tiny, lightweight, connects easily to DJI devices and works well... The battery will easily last the entire day with sensuous use. But the negatives are significant. The battery has no USB port, requiring you to transport a small docking station. You can't plug a USB cable into that either - you must use the built in cable, which means that you can't use the same cable you use for all of your other devices and you must charge within a few hand's width of your charger - usually not a problem, but if your charger is tucked behind a sofa (for example), it is a real pest. The magnet is weak too. Fine if you only intend to film in warm locations with thin clothing, but not strong enough (and the clip does not open wide enough) for anything thicker than a t-shirt. Despite spotting the potential problem and being careful, I lost the (one and only) magnet within an hour of starting to use the device, while adjusting my clothing. I would have lost the microphone too, if not for an eagle- eyed member of the public. So, on balance.... It is good, as long as you are prepared to think of it as a semi-disposable device

Fantastic, professional, high-quality and compact. I use it as my personal diary. It has a 32GB integrated memory for quick sessions without third-party apps or devices. It also functions as a backup, transmitting to your app and saving files in the transmitter. You can download recordings to your computer or mobile device wirelessly through the DJI Mimo app. A USB cable is included for charging and downloading, but it’s not necessary for wireless downloads. I tested it by walking around while speaking, and my transcription app picked up the words well. You can connect it directly through Bluetooth without a receiver. For professional sound quality, I recommend the receiver, which improves the transmission of the live recording dramatically. However, the backup recording is saved in high quality 32-bit float for post editing.

J’ai acheté ce micro seul sans avoir le transmetteur de DJ. L’avantage c’est qu’il coûte beaucoup moins cher que je peux quand même le connecter en Bluetooth sur mon iPhone. Et j’ai aussi une Pocket 3 et une action 6 qui gère la connexion sans fil sans avoir besoin du transmetteur. Avec la Pocket trois, je peux activer le mode d’isolation du Son à niveau bas ou élevé. J’ai moins d’option qu’avec le transmetteur mais cela me suffit pour le moment. J’ai même acheté deux micros car il était en promo à 84€ l’un. Il y a une petite pochette de transport livré avec qui était la même que le Mic Mini. Très pratique. En complément j’ai pris le boîtier en seconde main sur amazon à un tarif très intéressant.

A really tidy piece of AV kit. The sound quality is very good. They are small in size, this discrete and the wireless is great. I'm really pleased with the quality of recording both indoors and out. I'd like the app to be a bit better, easier to navigate and find the settings you want without a lot of other clutter.

El DJI Mic 3 es para mi gusto el mejor micrófono de los que he podido probar. Este le he comprado porque encaja perfectamente en la función de vlog, y se conecta al iPhone directamente (usando app externa de cámara)sin necesidad de tener el receptor. Al grabar internamente a 32 bit flotantes te permite tener versatilidad y doble copia de seguridad: Por una parte graba el sonido en el iPhone y por otra a nivel interna. Y como digo, sin necesitar receptor, que quizás está pensado más para cámaras de vídeo. Con un teléfono, no se necesita nada más. Para descargar los audios internos simplemente me conecto a la App de DJI, conecto el DJI Mic 3 al teléfono, y desde ahi guardo las grabaciones y las descargo al movil y al ordenador. Tienes una opción de que guarde además dos versiones, el audio original y también el audio procesado con cancelación de ruido por ejemplo La calidad del audio es muy buena, y a través de la app permite seleccionar algunas características como cancelación de ruido u opciones de automatización. Lo dicho, es un producto fantástico.
