How is it fed and what quantity for 14 chickens?

Hi Linda, Backyard Chicken is a liquid. You'll be using 1.5 oz per day. (1 oz. per every 10 chickens. Simply drizzle the liquid over their feed, give a good shake and stir, and you're all set. Thanks!

I have 300 chicken, 250 are babies. How much do I need?

I feed my chickens fermented feed. Is it ok to add this to the water I use to moisten the feed to ferment?

Absolutely. I have been using Seabuck in fermented feed since Summer and not only did egg laying increase but my new girls started laying a month earlier than I expected. The moulting time in the older girls was cut by more than half and that was using the Seabuck only once a week. Everyone looks healthier even in this incredibly frigid weather and lack of sunshine.
