Works great!

I got this for my husband who was struggling to wrap a wire deep in the engine bay of the car. It was just a scrape on the insulation but it needed repair and was an awkward reach.He was very surprised at the heat resistance. He hadn't really thought this product was something He needed before and hadn't looked super closely at that detail. He was very pleased with the quick dry time and cure... Even though our weather slowed it a bit.He used it during a very hot and humid day and he ended up with a bit more of a mess than he likely would have at room temp. The viscosity was noticeably impacted by the heat. He did think that having a better variety of application tools would have improved that situation and he'll prepare accordingly in the future. Lesson learned.

I have added many electrical accessories to my motorcycles, and helped many friends to do so as well. I find this product very useful in weather sealing and bonding small, and often hard to reach wire joins, and end clip connections in places subject to vibration, shock, and weather. Once cured, it is permanently in place, forms a strong join, and is completely weather proof. It cannot come undone as normal electrical tape often does. It works well in places where shrink tube or soldering is not applicable. It is bit tricky to use as one must be careful of it running or dribbling when installing it. And, It is best with two coats. So, I try to do two light coats. I have learned to put something behind the area I am working on if possible to stop any drips. I have never had any of these joins defeated, even on off road bikes that take a tremendous beating. it comes in colors and stays bright, so such joins can ve found easily in aid of checking to make sure they intact. It does take some time to cure, so a little extra time must be planned for. I really like this stuff.

I love this stuff. Be sure to close the lid tight. I keep it in the fridge to help prevent evaporation. It is kind of like PVC glue that way. I use it on all my outdoor low voltage wire splices. If it gets a little thick, add some acetone. I solder my low voltage splices then cover in two coats of this. This is my second can. The first can I used last year and all the splices that I can still see (buried a lot of them) are in perfect condition.

Dries too quickly or maybe the can I got was from an old batch. I've used this before without these issues. Again... maybe I was one that received an old batch.
